Ruismaker is a unique drumsynth plugin (i.e. it does not use samples), which is coupled with a creative Euclidean sequencer when run in standalone mode.
The plugin is fully AUv3 (Audio Unit) compatible:
- Seamless integration with Garageband and other AU hosts
- Audio Unit Instrument: making music on iOS doesn't get more convenient
- Supports Multi-Output AUv3 in AUM and ApeMatrix!
- Each sound is modeled using authentic analog and FM algorithms;
- Comes with dozens of unique customizable models
- Does not use any samples; all sounds are synthesized in realtime, on the fly
- Emulates analog components, introducing subtle, natural fluctuations in the sound
- Light on the CPU, so you can run lots of Ruismakers simultaneously
- Fully automatable parameters (requires host support) and MIDI CC controllable
- Has its own preset manager
The standalone sequencer is refreshingly different:
- Program patterns using Euclidean algorithms
- Powerful random feature and mutation probability settings per channel
- Syncs with Ableton Link or MIDI Clock
- Exports WAV and MIDI
- Compatible with Audiobus 3 (including MIDI IN/OUT mode)
- CoreMIDI In and Out
- AU MIDI output for the on-screen pads

I hope the developer sees this! The „randomize“ button is not available for external control via MIDI! Instead, there is a parameter called „dynamics“, which does not seem to do anything. I need the randomize function for my project! Please patch this :)

ok der Sequenzer ist anders, aber in dem Fall heißt es dass die Editierung nur begrenzt möglich ist. Nur für spezielle Fälle sinnvoll.
Gibt sicher bessere Apps im Vergleich.
Auch bzgl. Soundeditierung.

...und schade das manche scheinbar nicht verstehen was eine Audio Unit ist...
Nutze ruismaker in modstep.
Tolles Drum-Plugin. Ich liebe die "randomize"-Funktion um ein Drumset auszuwürfeln. Sollte jede synth-app haben.

Perfekt mit Cubasis, geniale, groovige Sounds.
Die Klänge haben das gewisse etwas, was man sonst eher mit analoger Hardware assoziiert. Die Ideale App bei Einsatz von externem Sequencer, Beatstep Pro in meinem Fall.
Super Bedienung, super Handbuch.

Ich bin mit Ruismaker sehr zufrieden. Die App läuft sehr gut zusammen mit Cubasis auf meinem IPad 4.
Die Drumsets klingen sehr analog und authentisch- knackig und druckvoll.
Die Bedienung ist intuitiv und leicht zu erlernen.
Was ich mir noch wünsche ist eine Einstellung zum Mappen der Sounds auf die Standard Pads von Cubasis. Auch ein etwas größerer Einstellbereich für den Pitch mancher Sounds wäre nicht verkehrt.
Jedenfalls möchte ich Ruismaker nicht mehr missen.
