What can't iFont do?
iFont can't change the system font; work with the keyboard; or force apps to let you customise the font. iFont also can't make Comic Sans look good.

iFont includes a wide range of features which let you install, compare, and view typefaces, including individual glyphs and technical details. These include:
CUSTOM FONTS
Install your own fonts (.ttf, .ttc, .otf formats supported, as well as these formats compressed in a .zip) for use in other apps. Simply download a font in a web browser, open in iFont and follow the simple instructions to install it on your device. You can also export a copy of the font, or send the profile to a friend to let them install it, too. iFont can also open archives containing multiple fonts.
FONT DOWNLOADS
iFont lets you download and install a range of fonts from the Google Fonts library, Dafont and more (including custom sources) within the app. It couldn’t be easier to find a suitable typeface for your next leaflet, poster or financial report.

NOTEPAD

See how a font looks at very small or very large point sizes easily using the Waterfall view. This lets you judge which size would be suitable for your use.
ZOOM
Zoom into a font up to 500%, allowing you to see the minute details in each character.

When i downloaded the app directly -before even seeing the fonts- shows u get max a free plan, then you gotta pay, i immidiately uninstalled it, every creative app wants you to pay otherwise unusable, but this immidiately popped the demand, this way one should pay a lottt every month just to work with these tools

App claimed fonts can be used on canva and word
I downloaded the app for adding a font to MS Word and design programs I work with. In the first step, the app even asks on which apps you'd like to use the fonts but when you check the settings later, the fonts only work for Keynote and a few other apps.

Leider läßt sich weder auf dem Mac noch auf dem iPad irgend eine Schrift installieren. Es werden immer Fehlermeldungen ausgeworfen, dass etwas nicht klappt, sogar bei den vorgestellten Fonts.

Was für ein Quatsch
Zum einen: kann ohne teueres Abo nicht genutzt werden. Zum anderen: alle paar Tage kommt ein Quatsch-Update, bei dem aber genau gar nichts geändert wurde. Wahrscheinlich werden die Quatsch-Updates automatisiert veröffentlicht, um eine aktive Entwicklung vorzutäuschen.

Ich arbeite mit vielen Schriften und genau hier hilft mir iFont nicht. Es macht die Suche nicht einfacher, sondern ist auf seine eigene Art unkomfortabel, so dass ich eine andere App gefunden habe, die tut, was eine Schriftverwaltung soll: Schriften zeigen und installieren oder deinstallieren.

Can’t get it to work

Bei mir funktioniert es nicht. Ich habe alles nach Anleitung gemacht und sie auch bei meinen Einstellungen installiert.Wenn ich nun Goodnotes öffnen, werden die Schriftarten nicht angezeigt. Ich hab es wieder geschlossen, GoodNotes aktualisiert. Aber es funktioniert einfach nicht.

Sehr großer Funktionsumfang, Google Fonts, eigene Schriften, zusätzliche Schriftenanbieter können konfiguriert werden.
Unterstützt sowohl die „alte“ Installationsart über Profile als auch die neue Schrifteninstallation ab iOS/iPadOS 13.
Mehr geht aktuell unter iOS/iPadOS nicht. Unbedingt Premium als (einmaliger) inApp-Kauf aktivieren, um den Entwickler zu unterstützen!

Macht was es soll
Die App ist perfekt um Schriften zu finden oder bereits auf dem Mac installierte Schriften auch ohne Umstände auf dem iPad und iPhone herunterzuladen. Nur eine iCloud Verbindung und ein schöneres UI würde das ganze Erlebnis noch abrunden. So werd ich sie aber trotzdem schonmal in meinen professionellen Alltag aufnehmen.
Ich hoffe auf weiteren Support und obwohl die App ohne Probleme kostenlos nutzbar ist, sind die 3,50€ es auf jeden Fall Wert um das Team zu unterstützen.

Gut, jedoch potential nach oben
Super App, die man auch kostenlos gut nutzen kann. Wäre jedoch schön wenn die Schriften entweder direkt in die Apple Tastatur mit aufgenommen werden könnten oder zumindest direkt in der iCloud synchronisiert werden können, sodass man nicht auf jedem Gerät einzeln jede Schrift herunterladen muss.

iOS is stuck in time and this app helps
That you cannot install custom fonts on a device that is marketed as a tool for creatives, is unfortunately in-line with many other limitations and discrepancies between Apple marketing and the user-hostile design decisions their team takes.
iFont is a great help in overcoming some of these. It is easy to find fonts from Google fonts and if you can absorb the tedious manual installation process that iOS requires, you are more than good to go.
I use the tool to support the visual design work I do when on the road.
I gladly support the development of this utility, especially because it does not require a subscription like many other alternatives.

Works flawlessly
I really love this app. I am a designer and I am using my devices to display my layouts on the final devices and also create design with them. Without iFont I wouldn’t be able to do so.
I am using it for roundabout 2 years now and I am very pleased.
