Race for the Galaxy is a strategy boardgame where players advance their empire by playing cards to build technological developments or to settle planets. Its core mechanic is a phase choosing game. Players secretly and simultaneously determine which one of seven phases they will lock in, all reveal at once, then execute the phases in order. Will you build an engine to ramp up VP generation on cheapo production planets? Will you invest in exploration and settle rare and valuable VP rich planets? Or will you rush a military conquest to cut off your opponents before they have a chance to develop their strategy?

Kein iPhone X Support
Dadurch wird das Spiel noch kleiner, es ist sehr gut, so dass es sich trotzdem lohnt, aber für den Preis hätte ich das dich erwartet..
Ich würde mir wünschen in den Logs zu sehen wie viele Punkte die Spieler in jeder Runde gemacht haben.

GRANDIOSE UMSETZUNG, aber...
Ich bin absolut begeistert vom Grundspiel und den ersten beiden Erweiterungen (5 Sterne dafür!). Aber die dritte Erweiterung ist aufgrund von permanenten Abstürzen nicht spielbar.

This adaption is beautifully done. The whole GUI is very thoughtfully created and serves its purpose very well. Within every step of the game, you have access to the internal help system. The AI plays very cleverly, even the medium is hard to beat for me - but I come close. The app and the expansions where instant-buys for me, although I only play the base game so far. I hope the other expansions will make their way to this app too.
Just two wishes: first, a cards browser would be nice. And second, having the actual points for each round in the log.

Super Spiel, Gute AI
Auf Empfehlung des Podcasts "Gamers with Jobs" gekauft. Kenne das Kartenspiel nicht aber das Tutorial hat es schnell erklärt und das Spiel macht wirklich Spaß und jede Runde dauert nur ca 10 min sobald man die Karten kennt. Definitiv eine Kaufempfehlung.

Der Klassiker zum Mitnehmen
Dieses Strategiekartenspiel ist für mich ein Grund, sich ein iPad zuzulegen. Dazu braucht diese App noch nicht mal das neueste oder schnellste Gerät. Solo-Spieler beißen sich am starken Computergegner die Zähne aus, und online kann man mühelos mit Freunden oder Fremden wetteifern. So müssen Brettspiel-Apps aussehen- volle Punktzahl.
