Glider is a simple, intuitive and incredibly versatile music player.
Search, browse, sort and shuffle across any number of supported music sources including: UPnP/DLNA media servers, MPD servers, your local iTunes library¹ and files imported through the iOS Files App, iTunes File Sharing, Safari or AirDrop.
Import your existing iTunes, M3U and MPD playlists – or create and edit new playlists across all connected sources.
Play your music on any device supporting UPnP/DLNA, OpenHome, MPD, Google Chromecast, AirPlay or directly to your iOS Speaker or headphones.
Additional features include:
• Lock screen controls to control playback while Glider is in the background
• Last.fm integration
• Genius.com integration to provide song metadata and easy access to lyrics
• An optional Dark Mode for easier reading in low light
• An optional Analog Mode to focus on album-based listening
• Gapless playback support on all capable devices
• Sort by Artist, Composer, Release Date (newest or oldest first), Title or Recently Added
• Automatic selection of the highest quality source file when multiple sources overlap
An optional monthly tip subscription is available to those who would like to show additional support for Glider development after purchasing Unlimited Playback. Payments will be charged to your account after confirmation. Subscriptions are automatically renewed unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Auto-renewal may be turned off from your Account Settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
1. Glider cannot play files or import playlists from the subscription-based Apple Music service.

I wasn’t even able to submit my feedback (within the app).
The App crashed ;-)

and play them on my Yamaha surround system
within 5 minutes.
you buy a record for that money but you get
all your records on a fingertip.
thats it ! great job !
room for improvement : more detail data on screen

to be honest: it is a beautiful, and apparently well programmed app (5stars).
but: 10 euro is quite a price tag for a streaming app. to much, i think. the free version is a pain in the ***. 30min are "always" used up and you have to waitandwaitandwait (1star)

Ich hab mit dem Kauf dieser App 5,49€ aus dem Fenster geschmissen. Habe bisher keine schlechtere App für Musik gehabt. Es fehlen Standard Funktionen wie z.B. shuffle oder Wiederholung, und wenn doch so ein Symbol vorhanden ist und man es drückt passiert einfach mal gar nichts.
Ich starte eine Playlist auf meiner Google cast Gruppe und der Player spielt ein Lied ab, danach nichts mehr. Nur durch manuelles auswählen wird der nächste Titel angespielt. Und das auch nur wenn ich Glück hab und die App nicht wie so oft neu starten muss um einen weiteren Song zu hören.
Also absolute Geldverschwendung!!! Lässt die Finger davon!

Everything you could wish from a clean interface with much attention to detail. Works like I wish Apple‘a interfaces would.
I only wish for native support to create playlists that can include music located on the network.

Very happy I found this great app. Working fabulously together with minimserver (DLNA/UPNP), chromecast audio and Google home. It also does support google cast groups. It has a clean, beautiful UI and is very responsive. Absolutely worth the money. Btw: one feature i‘d like to see be added is the possibility to repeat all tracks in the queue.
