touchAble lets you access all of Ableton Live via simple, robust connections, either wired or wireless, and provides access to nearly every aspect of the software. touchAble Pro builds on that support with an updated interface for all of the features that made touchAble popular:
- Control the transport, metronome, cues, and quantization
- Trigger clips and scenes and control looping
- Arm, mute, and solo tracks
- Adjust monitoring

Aber zum einen funktioniert es einfach nicht stabil.. und manches ist echt nicht intuitiv .. aber vor allem Abbrüche sind nervig.

Während ich als Anwender bereits am Woche 2 die Beta getestet habe, sind die Entwickler erst über das Forum darauf aufmerksam geworden, dass ihr Produkt nicht unter Live 11 laufen wird - sie hatten sich noch nicht mal zur Beta registriert. Zum Release von Live 11 ist dann natürlich auch kein Update da und der alte Server funktioniert nicht mehr.
Ableton 11 support ist da!

Ich nutze touchable seit Jahren. Eine großartige App mit den wohl umfassensden Möglichkeiten Ableton zu steuern.
Zudem eine gut gepflegte App mit engagierten Entwicklern.
In kürzester Zeit wurde der Ableton 11 support realisiert.
Davon sind andere Drittanbieter für Ableton noch meilenweit entfernt.
Weiter so! Ich will touchable pro gerne noch lange weiter nutzen!

Note repeat ist seit dem neuesten Update stabiler jedoch erst nach einigen Noten. Die ersten 2-4 Noten haben ihr eigenes Tempo unabhängig welches Raster ich auswähle. So kann ich die Funtion wieder nicht benutzen ?! Ich habe natürlich auch den neuesten Server 1.632 und verbinde über usb Kabel.

Einfach genial!
Mann kann so ziemlich alles in Ableton steuern.
Außerdem kann man sich (ähnlich wie ein abgepacktes touchOSC) selber Steuerungen basteln (z.B. für bestimmte Plugins...)
Läuft bei mir recht stabil (nicht ganz perfekt aber O.K.).
Verbindungsprobleme hatte ich auch schon, diese ließen sich aber mit Hilfe aus dem Forum beheben.

Entweder mach ich was falsch oder ich habe einen bug gefunden.
Wenn ich den ableton looper verwende und mit diesem Programm hier mehrere Buttons erstelle die dann rec/Play/Ovedub und Loop delete steuern sollen, fangen die Buttons an das selbe zu tun und sich gleich zu verhalten. Wenn ich das selbe mit meinem Launchpad mache dann funktioniert es einwandfrei.
Mir ist aufgefallen, dass das Problem auftritt wenn ich die loop delete Funktion auf einen Button patchen will. Sowohl über die midi learn Funktion als auch händisch gepatcht.
Ich hatte gedacht wenn die App schon so teuer ist dann wird sie so Kleinigkeiten auch hinbekommen. Bitte schaut mal danach ich hatte mir diese App extra geladen um mehrere looper in Ableton über mein iPad steuern zu können.
Ist eins der ersten iPads mit iOS 10.3.3
Aber daran wird es wohl nicht liegen, weil kompatibel.
Erst mal ein Punkt wenn das gefixt is ändere ich die Bewertung noch einmal.
Crashes when loading drum racks

I really love this app but when I load a drum rack while touchable is running it always crashed. I always have to exit and restart the touchable server on my Mac. Please set more focus on stability than adding tons of new features all the time.
I want to use it live in front of 1000s of people so I really have to rely on it.

..leider habe ich über Wifi wahnsinnig viele Hänger.. Midi kommt manchmal viel später und und dann plötzlich viele alte Befehle, Menüs flimmern mal kurz durch die Gegend uvm.
Kabellos kaum professionell zu gebrauchen.. SCHADE!!! Ansonsten tolles Layout und Design sowie krasse Funktionsvielfalt.
Könnte man nicht die Verbindung über Bluetooth herstellen? Aktuelle Standards müssten doch reichen! Dann würde es vlt. stabiler laufen und man könnte es an jedem Ort nutzen!!!
Ich würde mich unglaublich freuen wenn diese App halten könnte was sie verspricht. Am besten überall..
(Nutze sie mit MacBook Pro 2018 und iPad Pro 12,9 2018)

Nach dem letzten Update wegen Abstürzen beim Simpler haben die Entwickler es geschafft eine noch schlechtere Version zu zu programmieren! Jetzt stürzt die App bei allen Au/ vst PlugIns ab!!! Super ihr seid Helden!!!
Jetzt funktioniert es wieder. Aber bitte keine Banenprodukte mehr( Produkt reift beim Kunden)!!!

even though some things seem a bit buggy for a quite highly priced app (vst-plugin automap does not work with some plugins, app crashes sometimes) I must say that this the best addition I ever made to Ableton Live. I would love a preset browser inside of devices for the 5th star so come guys 😎 thank you for this great tool!

I‘m using a 2015 MacBook Pro and a 1st gen iPad Pro. The are connected tönten same WiFi, the app can obviously see the MacBook but it can’t connect. Tried multiple reboots etc. So - the app is entirely useless for me. Hoping for a fix, otherwise I‘ll have to ask for my money back.
Better than push 2 and also 20 times cheaper!!!

First of all thanks for the only real controller'for the capabilities of ableton live...thanks!!!
There still some bugs but...that was never something you guys cannot handle.
One feature request I have til version 2 is to tunnel the midi note data from a connected Midi controller thru touchable in to ableton per wifi connection...maybe thru a separate virtual midi connection...I think the infrastructure is already there sooooo...this wood be a killer feature for me!?!
