Beschreibung

FilmLab is the best app for viewing and digitizing film negatives. FilmLab lets you view negatives as positives, capture scans to save and share, and convert high resolution images from scanners and digital cameras.
FIlmLab is actively developed by a small team that is passionate about film photography. We believe every film image is special, and we feel a responsibility to help you get the best possible results using the equipment you have available. With that goal in mind, we've invested years of research and development to create an app that does film scanning right.
FilmLab supports scanning color negatives, black and white negatives, and color positives (slides). It supports all film formats, including 35mm, medium format, and large format. It works with a wide variety of film scanning setups (including kits sold by Negative Supply, Valoi, pixl-latr, Lomography, and Kodak). FilmLab also supports importing scans in most image formats, including camera raw files.
FILMLAB SUBSCRIPTIONS
When you install FilmLab, you'll get 12 scans per device for free. To get unlimited scanning, choose a monthly or annual subscription. If you choose to purchase a subscription, your payment will be charged to your Apple account. Subscriptions will automatically renew unless cancelled within 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can turn off auto-renewal at any time by going to your Account Settings in the App Store after purchase. If you cancel your subscription, you will continue to be able to view and edit all the images you scanned while your subscription was active.

Klappt nicht

Vom Negativ selbst so wie vom flatbed Scanner importiert, es wird einfach nichts. Noch dazu wurde meine subscription nie angezeigte- abgebucht aber schon. Ich habe auch die Mac OS Desktop Version probiert- die stürzt sofort ab wenn man eine Datei importieren bzw. bearbeiten will.. kann ich nicht empfehlen. Wenn dann probiere es mit free trial zuerst- es klingt anfangs als müsste man direkt Abo abschließen bevor man es überhaupt probieren darf. Stimmt nicht.

Flickering

Since the update it’s not usable anymore. I loved it before. But now you can’t switch the light sync anymore and it’s constantly flickering .

No more 1/50 or 1/60 sync possible in v2

Since the update on version 2.0 the sync to 1/50s or 1/60s is no more available, which makes the app useless because of the flickering of the light source.
Before the update, it was a really nice app. Please bring back the sync funktion!

Version 2.0 took all the good stuff away

I bought this app, it was simple and was doing the job well. Now there is a new 2.0 version with a subscription that I would have to buy regardless that I bought the app.
More importantly, the app that nothing else that converting negative to positive. I can even crop the picture anymore and I don’t even talk about fixing the skew.
To summarize bought an app, they brought a new version that does 25% of what the previous did and now it cost 6 euros per month. Thanks guys!

Würde mir Fotoimport wünschen

Ich würde mir einen Foto Import wünschen und dass man verschiedene Film Arten aussuchen kann, zum Beispiel wie Kodak Porta, wie bei Silverfast! Ansonsten für eine schnelle in der Invertierung ganz okay aber nix für Drucke!

Doesn’t focus, doesn’t work, crashes...

There’s no way I can get the app to focus. It often just crashes and when changing from the 1x lens to the 2x lens I often get just a screen full of pixels and have to exit the app and restart without any higher hope for better luck.
Quite literally a lousy app.

Tolle App für schnelle Begutachtung

Hab mir die App gekauft, da man zwischen 1/60 und 1/50 Shutter wählen kann, was die Beurteilung von Negativen am Leuchttisch enorm erleichtert.
Dass solch eine App einen professionellen Scanner nicht ersetzt sollte einem Bewusst sein.

Funktioniert sehr gut.

Ich scanne regelmässig Negative mit der App. Ich habe ein iPad mit einer „Leuchttisch-App“ in einen Schuhkarton gelegt. Auf dem Karton liegt eine Glasplatte und auf ihr das Negativ. vor das Iphone halte ich meist noch eine Lupe.
Jetzt gilt die Reihenfolge zu beachten, sonst hat mann keinen guten Scan! Mein Vorgänger der schlecht bewertet hat, hat das warsch. falsch gemacht.
1. scanen
2. zuschneiden!!!! (ganz wichtig)
3. kontrast und farbe einstellen
4. abspeichern
Die Ergebnisse die ich auf diese weise erziele sind jedenfalls besser als vom DM Fotoservice.
Das tolle ist, die Bilder können auch direkt auf dem Smartphone weiterverarbeitet werden.

Enttäuschung

Ist im derzeitigem Stadium noch sehr ausbaufähig. Nix mit automatischem Crop. Bildqualität sehr schlecht, trotz Benutzung eines Tageslicht-Leuchtpults. Sehr enttäuschend. IPhone 6s, iOS 12.
