• Powerful wavetable sound suitable for the latest in EDM
ELECTRIBE Wave has a sound wavetable featuring sounds widely used in the latest music creation. Unlike a PCM synth, the wavetable allows you to repeatedly play fragments of short waveforms, and change the waveform position during playback. By combining the wavetable (which features a rich variety of presets) with a powerful filter and two modulation units, you can create an infinite number of innovative and sharp sounds that cannot be produced using standard PCM synths. Even without a deep knowledge of synthesis techniques, the carefully selected parameters make it easy to craft your sound.
• Improved user interface for quick composition
The familiar 16-step pad in the ELECTRIBE series enables speedy rhythm production. The ELECTRIBE Wave also features a new keyboard to play chords and scales. Even without musical knowledge, you can have fun making tracks without worrying about wrong notes. The sequencer features Groove, which can be used to breathe life into rhythm parts, as well as a special keyboard to enable smooth step input for synth parts on the graphical user interface.
• Convenient chord pad that allows you to play a chord with one finger
ELECTRIBE Wave features a chord pad that allows you to play chords with one finger. If you use the "Fetch" function, it will automatically extract the chords from the song that you are in in the middle of creating and assign those chords to the pad for fast and easy song creation. You can also easily assign and save your favorite chords. In addition you can use the arpeggiator to create new phrases!
• Motion Sequence records and plays temporal changes in sounds and effects
The ELECTRIBE series introduced a powerful motion sequence function that remembers and reproduces the movements of the knobs. ELECTRIBE Wave now offers this function for the synthesizer/drum parts so you can create a flow of sound overflowing with originality. If you use the built in KAOSS PAD you can change the sound to drastically with a single fingertip, easily storing and reproducing temporal changes. Remember the wave table POSITION to make real time minute changes to the sound performance.
• Song mode can combine patterns into finished songs
Use song mode to create a new track by simply arranging the order of existing patterns. Using only the ELECTRIBE Wave, you can take a song all the way from inspiration to completion. With audio file export, you can send a complete song or individual patterns to your favorite DAW, or upload to services like SoundCloud.

Schade. Es gibt keine Möglichkeit, selbst erstellte Sounds ( viel Potential ) als Preset abzuspeichern. Statt dessen gibt es nur eine Datenbank mit maximal 10x16 abzuspeichernden Pattern inkl Sounds und Notenevents aller Instrumente. Jedoch ist diese Datenbanken schon zur Hälfte mit Werkspattern gefüllt. Aber was soll Ich damit? Wie kann Ich diesem Platz frei machen ?
Man kann kein Projekt von Grundauf leer starten. Könnte man wenigstens NotenPatterns mit neuen Sounds kombinieren , die in Presets abgelegt sind, wäre es sinnvoll. Aber so?

Undo Funktion wäre eine große Bereicherung!
Und wenn ihr die App noch weiter nach vorn bringen wollt baut die drum section bitte noch mit mehr Sampler Funktionen aus ( Sampling, Resampling, Timestretch, Slicing, Einstellbarer Startpunkt des Sampels ) eben all diese wunderbaren Funktionen die wir von den Electribe Samplern kennen und lieben.
Ich weiß das ihr das drauf habt!
Ok meine Wünsche sind schon etwas groß angesichts des Aufwands der Programmierung, aber ehrlich und da bin ich sicher nicht der einzige, genau das ist es was uns jetzt noch fehlt wenn es um Electribe und IOS geht die ultimative Sampling Power mit Touch Interface und absoluter bearbeitungsfreundlichkeit / Leichtigkeit aller Electribe Wave. Dafür würde ich gern auch nochmal bezahlen solltet ihr dies in einer eigenständigen neuen App verwirklichen. Also bitte wann kommt die Electribe Next Generation Sampling App.
Enttäuscht eure Fans nicht und macht euch ans Werk.

Alle positiven Aspekte sind hier schon beschrieben worden, ich bin ebenfalls begeistert. Warum nur 4 Sterne? Es gibt noch einiges Potenzial:
Das Metronom ist viel zu laut, es sollte in den Voreinstellungen möglich sein, das zu ändern.
Die Drums - ich würde mir wünschen, dass im Sound Bereich oben ein visuelles Feedback der gespielten Instrumente erfolgt. Z. B. indem die Bezeichnung D1 bis D8 leicht aufblinkt wenn die entsprechende Taste gespielt wird und dass nicht nur die Tasten blinken.
Utility Bereich: wenn ich etwas verschiebe oder transponiere, sehe ich nirgendwo den Wert. Es wäre durchaus noch Platz in den Feldern oder könnte auf den Move- bzw. Transpose Buttons dargestellt werden.
Extrawurst, führt nicht zur Abwertung: die UI ist genial und ich habe wirklich das Gefühl, eine Electribe in der Hand zu haben, ohne die Nachteile eines kleinen Displays und der fisseligen Menüführung. Verschiedene Skins wären toll. Und um auf allerhöchstem Niveau zu meckern: die Tasten könnten ruhig _etwas_ mehr nach Tasten aussehen. D.h., die jeweils gedrückte Taste könnte zusätzlich zum Licht auch noch etwas eingedrückt oder vertieft dargestellt werden.

Genau, was ich gesucht habe! Es macht so einen Spaß hier Songs zusammen zu basteln! Ein paar Kleinigkeiten wären noch schön im Song Modus, zum Beispiel dass man die letzte Einstellung (welche Parts stumm sind) duplizieren kann. Das wäre echt hilfreich... Ansonsten echt ein feines Teil. Hab mich an zwei Abenden selbst einarbeiten können, also echt nicht zu kompliziert!

Ich bin ein Fan der Electribe mx/sx und das Gefühl nun auf meinem iPhone erleben zu dürfen ist genial.
Wavetable Import wäre super und mehr Oscillatoren.Falls eine Hardware umsetzung geplant ist, steht diese schon auf meinem Wunschzettel.

im Studio als abwechsungsreiche Soundschleuder mit Rytmus and groove macher ambitionen... die Möglichkeiten sind sehr vielseitig... ios korg apps werden bei mir auch live eingesetzt ohne abstürze bis jetzt cool weiter so

Sehr intuitiv zu bedienen. Dabei wirkmächtig und unglaublich reich an konfigurationsmöglichkeiten. Beispielsweise die frei wählbaren Parameter im Kaoss Pad Bereich. Und der Klang ist unglaublich gut.
Wer mehr Features und eigene Wellenformen nutzen will muss den Waldorf attack nehmen.
Der Wave ist dafür übersichtlicher und mit 16 (8Drum/8Synth) statt den 24 Stimmen des attack evtl. im Live gebrauch sicherer zu bedienen.
PS: Im Motion-Sequencer sollten die Regler etwas schlauer sein. Z.B. Nullpunk via Doppeltap. Auch verhalten sie sich merkwürdig wenn ich von rechts nach links drüber streiche? (iPad 12.9" 1.Gen, iOS 10.3.3)

This Beast simply Sounds great... for me the best Sounding groovebox out there, but there are 2 and a half Things which Suck a Bit.
1st : the groove Templates are just available for the drums.. if you want to use a percussive synth and add groove : Not possible
2nd : there is no sidechain like in Gadget for compression..please give us the possibility to Mark a drum Track as key-Signal and put that damn sidechain-effect into the fx-rack :-) ..the workaround for that which works quite ok is using motion-sequencer on Amp-Level in smooth-mode.
And the Half : the Lack of Synth preset-patches.. there are a few, but with this Synth-Engine you Can create Kind of any sound and it Would be nice to have a Full 127-patches set.
Besides that Electribe Wave is really a Production-Tool.
The basic-drum Sounds were selected very clever and its Kind of possible to create any sound you want, as you Can put an fx on each drum-track. The Source for drums Range from Classic 707 Kick drum to pimped, processed Up to Date drum sounds.
In the lower-frequency Range it sounds like a Real thing.. full Sub basses are possible in my opinion.
It crashed for me one time inside audiobus using the master compressor.
Hope KORG will add the groove templates for synths soon.
