Minimalist Weather App
The majority of people think more equals better but as Steve Jobs and Apple have shown us time and time again less equals better. This is why I created Minimalistic Weather App. I wanted, no needed, a weather app that's not cluttered with unnecessary stuff.
The app is simple and has a beautiful minimalistic design that only shows you what you want and what you need. The app is ad-free so you have no distractions that annoy you or drains your batteries.
Design
The beautiful and minimalistic design makes it easy for you to get the information you need and move along with your day. I have included a variety of minimalistic color themes so that you can personalize the app.
Functionality
To keep the app minimalistic I have carefully chosen the information that is displayed and the functionalities. You can either get the current weather information in your location or in any other city by searching for it. By double-tapping, on the screen, you’ll switch between showing the temperatures in Celsius or in Fahrenheit. The unit of measurement that you have chosen will be saved and synced to the widget and iMessage extension.
The information that is giving to you are:
- Current temperature
- Daily forecast
- Hourly forecast
- Min & max temperature
- Time of sunrise & sunset
- The weather type
- 7-Day forecast
- 12 and 24-Hour timezones
- Both Celsius & Fahrenheit as temperature units
Widget:
- The app provides a small, beautiful, and simple widget where you can get the current weather info at a glance.

Wetter mal anders

Sehr stylisch und schlecht gemacht. Genau das gefällt mir. Leider bedeutet schlichte Aufmachung auch, das wenig Daten angezeigt werden für den aktuellen Tag. Viele Details und eine hohe Genauigkeit darf man also nicht erwarten..

A very good app!

This great app shows the weather in a minimalistic way! Very nice user interface!
Great would be a dark mode and a dark widget! Are there any plans to offer other languages (like german, ...)?

One more thing...

Very nice and minimalistic app! A hidden list with other places would be cool! Like in the apple weather app but more simple and hidden without a button?

Please hide some icons

Wishes:
1. Please hide some icons for “true” minimalism.
Like the color theme choice on the right button, and the question mark in the left bottom.

ok-ish

I like the app however I have some problems:
sunrise / sunset times are displayed as “6 AM:08“ instead of “6:08 AM“. (My iPhone is set to 24-hour time)
Also I get the message “location access denied” although I always allow location in settings.
For a paid app these problems shouldn’t happen. Please fix them.

Great, but what is that grey for?

I like the look, but I don‘t understand the reason for the grey part on the left edge of the screen.
I the App should be that simple, the screen should be white and nothing else!
