Tonality is the ultimate chord, scale, and general music theory reference tool for musicians of all skill levels. It allows you to explore a large database of chords and scales and includes tons of MIDI functionality, including 4 bundled Audio Unit (AUv3) plugins.
NOTE: Tonality will always be a one-time purchase with free upgrades. All IAPs are for tips only.
CHORDS:
• Chord dictionary with over 1,000 chords for piano and guitar
• Listen to a chord by tapping on it, or arpeggiate by swiping
• Reverse search for chords containing certain notes (using piano or fretboard)

Sehr umfangreiches Tool zum Erlernen und Üben von Musiktheorie!
Ich nutze bisher in erster Linie die Übefunktion (für Melodien und Akkorde) und bin schon allein dort begeistert von unter anderem den unterschiedlichen Einstellmöglichkeiten und Übemöglichkeiten.

very helpful and user-friendly
The developer did a great job with this app and still does by answering messages very fast.
This app is perfect for learning and identifying scales and chords.
It also has useful excercises that help one obtain relative pitch.

Swiss army knife of the tonal world 🌍
I don’t know where to start...it’s just so versatile and flexible, great to learn chord progressions, the tonal relations inbetween, customizable chords, great as a midi instrument as well as for learning music theory.
The updates, since it came out, where always massive and the developers REALLY CARE about support and having an ear for future feature suggestions:

Sehr Gut
Meine Erwartung wurden übertroffen.
Gerade bei komplizierteren Akkorden kann man einfach den Akkord spielen und bekommt man den Namen und die Schreibweise (mit den Notenlinien) angezeigt.
Auch das Hörtraining-Spiel gefällt mir (d.h. Akkorde nach Gehör „raten“/erkennen z.B. Dur oder Moll).
Insgesamt ein schöner, praktischer Zugang für alle, die sich für praxisorientierte Musiktheorie interessieren.
Die App läuft bei mir Stabil in Cubasis als Midi-Effekt.
