Beschreibung

miRack is a Eurorack-style modular environment. It aims to provide user experience and audio quality close to those of the real Eurorack hardware. miRack can be used to build custom synthesizers and effects, control other apps and equipment, as a playground to explore and learn modular synths, and for live performances.
miRack is also available on macOS, including Audio Unit and VST plugins.
* Comes with more than 700 modules created by third-party developers and adapted for mobile devices by miRack team. New modules are added regularly.
* Includes AUv3 plugin. Can work as an instrument, audio effect or MIDI processor. Supports parameter automation to record and automate changes of almost any virtual module control.
* Multi-channel audio input and output (in both standalone and AUv3 modes), with full support for Expert Sleepers audio interface modules to integrate with hardware Eurorack equipment.
* MIDI input and output, including MIDI clock sync, and MIDI learn function. Automate and control your patch, or control other software and hardware instruments with powerful sequencer modules.
* Ableton Link support to synchronise with other music software on the same device or over network.
* iCloud support to sync patches between iOS and macOS app versions.

Newer devices are recommended for better performance. Modules may vary greatly in CPU usage, the size of the patch your device is able run will depend on the modules used.

**APP FEATURES**
* Incompatible ports are now dimmed when dragging a cable.
* Added a button to mark modules as favorite from their menus.
* Added protection from repeated crashes if there's a problem loading a patch on miRack launch.
* Added 32- and 64-sample audio buffer size options.
* Number of DSP threads can now be increased in settings (only in standalone mode). Use this with caution, on newer devices and only if required for a large patch.

**BUG FIXES**
* Fixed editing LPG responce/decay in Audible Instruments Macro Oscillator 2.
* Fixed FPS setting is not applied after restarting miRack.
* Fixed incorrect operation when double-tapping toggle switches.
* Fixed incorrect behaviour of several MSM modules.
* Fixed a freeze when loading samples.

Vom Eurorack kommend bin ich zuerst auf VCV Rack gestoßen, suchte jedoch lange nach etwas Ähnlichem auf dem iPhone, weil ich beim Pendeln zur Arbeit, in der Mittagspause oder einfach unterwegs nicht immer mein Macbook mitschleppen wollte. Heute morgen hab ich mir dann endlich miRack gekauft und es ist jeden Cent wert! Innerhalb von 60-90min erstellte ich ein generatives Ensemble mit knapp 15 Modulen, in dem das nicht zu unterschätzende iPhone Mikrofon auch noch miteingebunden wird. Dank MI Resonator, der neben Clouds und etlichen anderen Modulen integriert ist (sowie einigen VCV Rack Modulen, worüber ich mich sehr freute), konnte ich mich nun in der Mittagspause einer elektroakustische Klangsymbiose hingeben, die ich auf so einem kleinen Gerät nicht für möglich gehalten habe. Und das in 96kHz Stereo 👌🏽 größten Dank an die Entwickler!

Sadly there are lots of modules missing and i have the feeling they don’t get updated which is a bit sad. befaco as example got lots of new stuff but nothing available here. only in vcv.

Not sure, wheather the company has any relation to vcv rack. Cause the software is basically a vcv rack knockoff.
vcv is open source so get that an do not support companys with your money for other peoples work.

If there's a license with vcv the developers could maybe comment underneath.

It’s still one of favourite music app. But will there be updates. I would love to get Polyphon modules. Love VCV Rack and to be able to use it on my iPad. But please make the connections light up like in VCV rack.

Amazing to have a rack on an iPad. Pretty stable, fun and inspiring. You should have an idea about patching or some dedication to learn. The build in devices are great, broad range of patching options. Love it.

Ich benutze schon lange die Windows Version, da gibt es natürlich noch mehr....
Die Bedienung auf dem iPad empfinde ich jedoch als etwas fummelig, mir verrutschen oft die Module.

Leider nur eingeschränkt nutzbar - alleine das kein Standard VCF vorhanden ist macht es unmöglich „normale“ Patche aufzubauen - leider trifft das auf viele Module zu - zwar ne Menge spezieller Module - aber die Standards fehlen oder sind nur eingeschränkt nutzbar (ein Königreich für eine normale Effektauswahl )- sollte hier nachgereicht werden, ändere ich meine Meinung.

Absolutely amazing to have this available on iOS! I am pairing it with other modular gear via a Arturia Audio Fuse and it's working really nicely.
Would be great if the audio input module would get a bit more sophisticated. If you could use any of the Expert Sleepers modules directly in miRack either via ADAT and an audio interface or the ES-8 for instance it would be AMAZING!!!

VCV 1.x alignment would be a dream :)
