I use Session messenger since September 2022.
By searching an alternative messenger as plan B in case of chat control in the EU comes true, I got the tip to test Session.
Now I like this messenger same as my plan A messenger Threema. 😀
Recommendation: if your friends don’t wanna pay for Threema messenger, buy them a Threema license – or use Session with them to communicate safe & secure.

Wenn ich versuche einen Link oder Dateien zu teilen, bekomme ich ständig den Fehler "Couldn't find enough Service Nodes to build a path". Und nein, ich habe weder ISP-Blockierungen noch Verbindungsbeschränkungen auf dem Gerät. Der Fehler kommt immer, wenn man etwas über das Teilen-Dialog verschickt. Wenn ich in die App gehe und den Link reinkopiere, dann funktioniert es.

Das Konzept der App ist immer noch allen anderen messengern voraus, seit ein paar monaten klappt aber gar nichts mehr. Entweder werden nachrichten erst nach Stunden oder erst Tagen zugestellt, oder sie kommen gar nicht an. Das liegt nicht an einem bestimmten endgerät sondern scheint bei allen nutzern aufzutreten.

Ich und meine freunde finden man sollte seinen eigenen Sperrcode für die App erstellen können sonst hat es ja keinen sinn wenn es der gleiche code wie beim Handy entsperren l ist.
Aber sonst top app aber falls das nicht behoben wird müssen ich und meine Freunde zurück auf Threema greifen.

Die App finde ich bis jetzt ganz gut und ansprechend, ich erhalte jedoch keine Benachrichtigung (Push-Benachrichtigung) und kein Kennzeichen an der App wenn ich eine neue Nachricht bekomme... In den Einstellungen der App und in iOS ist dies jedoch alles korrekt konfiguriert..
Das stört schon etwas, da man öfter mal in die App gehen muss um zu kontrollieren ob man eine neue Nachricht hat..

The idea and the design is good … but this is a messenger, so the most important thing should be to deliver a message quickly and safe from one person to another.
But some messages get lost or they appear in my chat history much later and when they do, they appear chronologically, which means they appear somewhere in my old chat history. I only got knowledge of this because people where wondering why I’m not responding to questions or ignoring some of their messengers during a chat. When I looked for those messages, they haven’t been there. Later on they appeared out of the sudden.
Please work on this issue soon!

That‘s what a messenger is made for. I simply want a notification when a message comes in, even is the app isn‘t running in foreground. But this doesn‘t happen.
In this level of development I don‘t what large group, open or closed. I don‘t want videomessages or anything like this.
