Built for mariners by mariners, it displays necessary weather and marine info in a neat and simple way. The detailed map will help to plan cruises, races, or nice fishing.
Accurate forecasts and real-time data includes:
• atmospheric pressure map with marked highs and lows
• weather fronts
• wind and gust forecasts
• waves info
• tides and currents
• rain radar and precise nowcast
• live wind information from 30000+ weather stations
Top-notch weather data is provided by professionals - official weather forecasting services: NOAA, Meteo-France, Deutscher Wetterdienst, ECMWF and others. High-resolution forecast for Europe and East Asia is calculated by our team.
And it’s not just the weather - marinas have contact information so you can call or email the harbor master to book a berth or to ask about amenities.
Special treat for sailors and boaters in the US is the option to display nautical charts. It shows water depths, dangers, anchorages, and other features. The provided nautical charts aren’t for navigation purposes.
Using the app is easy. You can change units, wind speed display (animation or wind barbs), and weather data displayed on the map. Activate “Traffic Saver Mode” if you experience low reception signal.

Ausbaufähig
Eine tolle app mit etlichen WetterModellen. Schlicht und übersichtlich. Jetzt mit StundenAnzeige 👍🏽 Städte in einer Liste speichern und Vorhersage dann wäre sie top.

ACHTUNG!!! Betrug!!!
In der App wird ein 7-tägiges kostenloses Probeabo angeboten.
Leider wurde mir sofort die volle Summe in Rechnung gestellt und über mein Paypal-Konto abgebucht.
Darauf hin sofort, umgehend das Abo gekündigt und eine Mitteilung per Email mit der Aufforderung der Gutschrift auf mein Konto gesendet.
Sollte die Rückzahlung nicht zeitnah erfolgen, werde ich diesen Fall wegen Betrugs zur Anzeige bringen.

OK aber viel teurer als Alternativen
Die App ist OK, aber das Abo viel zu teuer, für die angebotene Funktionalität. Etwas mehr Modelle aber ansonsten auf den ersten Blick weniger Möglichkeiten als bei komplett kostenlosen Alternativen wie Windy. Wenn man die App testen will, wird direkt ein Abo angelegt, dass einem 65€ abbucht wenn man nicht innerhalb von 7 Tagen daran denkt zu kündigen. Die Kündigung wiederum ist nicht (oder zumindest nicht offensichtlich) aus der App sondern nur über den AppStore möglich. Das ist extrem unfreundlich für den Nutzer. Habe die App deswegen nach 5 min wieder gelöscht und das Abo beendet, bevor ich es vergesse und mach gerade mal 7 Tagen den meiner Meinung nach deutlich zu hohen Preis für das Jahresabo zahlen muss.
