Stürtzt nur noch ab
Warum ist Auto-Speichern nicht voreingestellt? Stundenlanges Arbeiten war mit einem Absturz weg. Und neuerdings stürzt die App nur noch App, eine kleine Änderung -> Absturz. Und jetzt kann ich die App gar nicht mehr öffnen, sie stürtzt sofort ab. Und mein Modell ist sehr simple.

Easy to use
A really great little app, this is where I first learned how to design 3D models relatively easily. It works perfectly for sculpting. The only thing I miss is proper measurement in mm or cm. Of course, you can work around it, but it would be better to have a proper solution for this. Keep it up, guys! 👌

My favorite 3D sculpting software
Not just my favorite iPad app, but also my favorite 3D sculpting software whatsoever.
In terms of UI and workflow no other sculpting software ever made as much sense to me and gave me genuine comfort while working as Nomad Sculpt.
I have been using Nomad for three years and what started out as a fun app to sculpt and export for remeshing, texturing etc., has slowly turned into a powerful standalone tool that allows me to work on more and more steps just on the iPad.
Both beginner friendly and useful for professionals, I can‘t recommend it more.

Sehr komplexe App, benötigt etwas Einarbeitung, aber wer wie ich mit Blender arbeitet, dürfte keine Probleme haben! Es wäre ein Traum, wenn man seine Objekte auch noch riggen könnte.

Very intuitive and comfortable to work with
The tools make sense, it runs well on my iPad Pro M1, it is very concise and intuitive. I have had experience with Blender and found it to be a total drag to work with, but Nomad will from now on completely replace the sculpting portion of Blender for me now.
It would be total perfection if it had a rigging function but that might be asking too much haha. I could still use Blender for that though so I should be fine.
But it is still something I would welcome and I hope the devs will bring into reality.

Perfect for mobile sculpting and more
I startet a few years ago with sculptris and zbrush. Sculptris with the dynamic topology was a game changer and zbrush buyed it. Sadly i loved zbrush for the features but hated it for the interface from hell.
Nomad sculpt is the new game changer for me. Sitting in a café and sculpting high end organic forms, like humans cartoon character or monsters. Also for low poly sculpting and modelling i love it. It is very easy to create hard surface models and the last update with zremesher and polygroups changed it to a grown up 3d modelling package.

Noch weitere coole Möglichkeiten wäre, dass man aus einem Körper zum Beispiel ein Kugel abziehen oder schneiden könnte oder die Wanddicke eines Körpers definieren könnte.

As a professional 3D artist I‘m loving this app. It’s part of my pipeline for final products delivered to the client. The sculpting and modeling tools are intuitive and complete. Best app purchase ive done maybe ever. Also sooo good that it’s not a monthly plan but a one time fee.
I don’t know why but recently sculpting with dynotopo causes holes in the mesh. Please fix that.

- mirrored objects in transform mode glitch and move inverted
- editing tubes does only work with finger input. Such a terrible interaction. Adding and moving points with my fingerertips feels crap

Mehr als erwartet
Bisher noch keine Funktion vermisst. Für einen Einstieg empfehlen sich ein paar youtube Videos. Bin erstaunt wie flüssig und stabil die App auf dem 2021 ipad air (pencil2) läuft.
Habe allerdings den Eindruck, das im inhouse Format der App nur im designiertem App Speicher gespeichert werden kann. Exportieren lässt sich die aarbeit in 3 Formate. Bisher Backup nur über Export.
(Ich mag Apples Dateiverwaltung nicht by the way.. Aber dafür kann die App nichts.)

Gamechanger, Footwear 3D Design
This app is really a game (and lifestyle) changer for me. Whilst I was always bound to my heavy workstation in the office I can now finally do all the work just from my Ipad remotely whereever I want to be. Usability is great and was easy for me to enter doing 3D sculpting for the first time.
Wishlist: I still struggle to get the GLB vertex colors into Blender. Would love to have UV maps too. A raytracing renderer would complete the package for me.

Nomad Sculpt ist zwar schön und macht aber auch Spaß. Das einzige, was mich nervt, ich kann Multiresolution nicht erhöhen. Da sieht man unschöne Pixeln, Ecken und Spitzen. Mit Smooth reicht leider nicht aus. In Moment kann ich mir keinen neuen iPad leisten. Schade, wenn es einen Testversion gäbe, hätte ich mein Geld nicht rausgeworfen :(.

endlich eine sculpting app fürs ipad. soweit ganz gut aber ausbaufähig. kann meine Alphas (für die pinsel ) nicht benutzen.
es würde nice sein wenn es auch ein radial werkzeug geben würde.
finaly, a sculpting app for ipad. it is ok, but it can be better. cant load my alphas (for my brushes). it would be nice, if a radial tool where in the tools. and what about a glas shader?

One thing I would like though would be a possibility to rotate the viewport - coming from drawing apps that would improve the ui in my opinion.
