iMissal is Catholic Reference Application for your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.
Here is what is included in iMissal:
1) A complete Missal:
Liturgical Calendar: Full calendar displaying all of the liturgical seasons. The calendar is color coded based on liturgical season and shows Holy Days of Obligation, Solemnities, Major Feasts, Saints, etc. Calendar is currently available for years 1990 - 2050.
Mass Readings: All the Mass Readings for every liturgical cycle (A,B,C,I,II) are included! This includes First Reading, Psalm, Second Reading, Alleluia, and Gospel for all Sunday and Weekday Masses. Reading text is always available for every day, no WIFI connection necessary. Uses translations officially approved for Mass in the U.S. Great resource for Lectors and RCIA.
** The liturgical texts provided in iMissal are used with the permission of the Confraternity of Christian Doctrine and the International Committee on English in the Liturgy. They are the official texts approved for use in the dioceses of the United States by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops. Beware of other applications which use other translations and cost much more.
Audio of the Mass Readings. Audio is only available for more recent dates (sliding window of aprx. 30 days). * WIFI connection recommended for optimal playback of audio files.

IPieta has all this and loads more and is a lot cheaper

Makes me sick how you guys are sending everyone spam for your stupid vote, buy the way it's obvious that you are cheating as all other apps which are way better have like 3 % and you guys 45 this is not catholic at all and I don't know why I should vote this outdated app in any way all other ones are being updated with new features recently and only cost half the price if anything.
Ipieta gibt es jetzt auch auf deutsch für meine deutschen Brüder !!!!!!!!
Nice graphics but too expensive the is a better app called ipieta has everything this one has and loads more and the best thing is cheaper I don't understand why these suposed to be Catholics but greed over faith shame one you

Falsche Angaben !!!

Hallo
Nun ist es fast ein Jahr her (24.12.2010) an dem ich eine Rezension zu dieser App geschrieben habe. Seitdem hat sich im wesentlichen nichts geändert. Trotz der Updates gibt es keine Umstellung der Sprache auf "Deutsch". Herr "Hafi09" fand meine Rezension nicht angemessen. Das ist in Ordnung. Wenn ich jedoch unter "Sprachen" (s. weiter oben) Deutsch angebe dann sollte ich die App auch in "Deutsch" anbieten. Dies ist bis heute nicht geschehen. Ich habe den Support mehrmals in Englisch, dessen ich mächtig bin, angeschrieben. Keine Antwort, keine Reaktion.
Deswegen bleibt es bei meiner Gesamtkritik. Für eine christliche Gemeinschaft ist es nicht angemessen falsche Behauptungen aufzustellen. Im Hinterzimmer muss gehalten werden was im Schaufenster versprochen wurde.
Vor allem wenn man dafür Geld verlangt.
Ich kann von daher nur maximal einen Stern vergeben.

Diese App tut genau das ...

... was in der Beschreibung steht.
@Walter Cremer: Wie kann man eine englische App kaufen, wenn man die Sprache nicht versteht? In der Beschreibung steht absolut nichts von Deutsch! Im Gegenteil: es wird ausdrücklich darauf hingewiesen, dass es sich um U.S. Messen in Englisch handelt, Liturgie in Englisch und amerikanisch/englische Bibeln.
Und dann noch von Täuschung in der Rezension sprechen ist ganz schön dreist! Besser erst übersetzen lassen und dann schreiben.
Für alle, die Englisch verstehen, ist diese App ein guter Einstieg ins Katholische. Leider habe ich noch nichts Vergleichbares in Deutsch gefunden.
