Very much Information, reliability is high yet an current update would be appropriate

I used it quite regularly to get information about countries not often mentioned in news or TV. Yet meanwhile a update would appropriate. In much countries Situation or government has change during the last month/years.

Sehr gut!

Nach dem letzten Update funktioniert die App einwandfrei und scheint aktuell zu sein. Schön ist auch, dass die Karten der Flächenvergleiche mit eingebunden sind. Wenn die Angaben zu der mittleren Höhe eines Landes, die jetzt im CIA-Factbook enthalten sind, auch noch mit übernommen werden, gibt es 5 Sterne :-)

Besonders die Karten sind super!

Viele Infos sehr übersichtlich aufbereitet. Die Karten sind echt cool - sehr hoch aufgelöste PDFs. Aus dem politischen Weltkarten-PDF lässt sich beispielsweise ein Tiff mit 11704 x 6360 Pixeln generieren, das sind ca. 99 x 54 cm bei 300 dpi!!! Insgesamt 27 politische und physikalische Karten von unterschiedl. Regionen bzw. Kontinenten (z.B. World, United States mit Staaten und Hauptstädten, Zeitzonenkarte, Weltmeere, ...). Habe dafür schon 2 der sogenannten "Atlas"-Apps löschen können. Die PDFs lassen sich z.B. zu Dropbox hochladen und somit auch am Mac oder woanders nutzen.

Sehr zu empfehlen!

Funktioniert nicht mehr!

Zunächst sehr gute App. Nach dem letzten Update (März 2016) geht aber auf dem iPad nichts mehr. Sehr ärgerlich! Vor dem Update 5 Sterne, danach keinen.

Ich empfinde es als Frechheit Kunden so einen unausgegoren Mist anzubieten. Wird sofort gelöscht und nie wieder aufgespielt!

Gute Alternative zum Buch!

Das typische CIA-Factbook mit unglaublich vielen spannenden Informationen!

Die Strukturierung und Anpassung an iOS ist die Stärke der App. Wer mit dem normalen günstigeren Buch sehr gut klarkommt braucht die App allerdings nicht.

Eine Karte auf der man die Länder direkt anwählen kann wäre wünschenswert. Außerdem ist die Auflösung der Bilder (der App-Größe geschuldet) relativ schlecht. Hier sollte es die Option zur Erweiterung geben.
