The International SOS Assistance App is an essential tool that helps you make the most of your International SOS membership and is available exclusively to members whose organization offers the app to their travelers and expatriates. With the Assistance App, travelers and expatriates have a world of capability in their hand: it is the only medical and travel security app that is integrated into a global assistance infrastructure.
• Call for Assistance from the Log In screen if even if you don’t know your membership number
• Now available in six languages: English, French, German, Chinese, Japanese and Korean
• Displays travel itineraries for members using International SOS’ TravelTracker solution - requires login via email
• Login via email – no need to memorise membership numbers
• Access mobile-friendly medical and travel security information and country guides, to prepare before trips.
• Instant and interactive access to latest medical and security alerts for your destinations, before and during trips.
• Push notifications for alerts based on your currently selected location
• Save up to 25 countries for quick access to frequently traveled destinations
• Simple country search
• Improved Settings menu with additional control options
• App works in airplane mode after your first successful login, read alerts while offline
You will need your organization’s International SOS membership number to log in.

Seit dem Update eine Katastrophe

Seit dem Update bleibt man nicht mehr eingeloggt, sondern muss sich bei jedem Start der App wieder neu anmelden. Das geht garnicht, besonders unterwegs.
Außerdem ist die Logik der Bedienung jetzt völlig unverständlich.
Und GPS läuft 24h ununterbrochen und saugt den Akku leer.
Wenn hier kein Update kommt wird die App gelöscht.

Komplett schlecht!

Im Vergleich zur alten App viel zu umständlich, ständiges Login erforderlich, Einchecken schlägt oft fehl.
Schade, eine gute App ist nutzlos geworden.

Though version 5.0.2 was supposed to correct a login issue it actually does not allow login on my iPhone 6S but stays in startup screen forever!

Ärgerliche Vorgaben für Passwörter

Sehr ärgerlich, dass man nicht den eigenen Standards folgende Passwörter vergeben kann. Vielleicht sollte man als Service-Dienstleister einmal an der Nutzerfreundlichkeit arbeiten…

Datenverlust durch Update???

Jetzt muss man seine Anmeldedaten wieder neu hinterlegen, na danke. Als ob man die auf Reisen dabei hätte.... ist mir unverständlich.

Idee gut, Umsetzung schwach

Ellenlange Advisory Texte - keine Nutzung der Geolokation - Auswahl der Meldungen erfolgt auf Landes-Ebene - daher sowohl haufenweise Falschalarme oder gar keine Alarme jenseits der Grenze.
