This is the official version of the 80's classic "Montezuma's Revenge!" Explore the chambers of the mysterious Aztec pyramid! Climb the stairs and ropes, collect keys to open doors! Collect the jewels & swords, and the coveted torch! Beware of the snakes, skulls and spiders! And finally, find the treasure room at the end of the underground labyrinth!
It has all the original key features of the original Atari classic plus a number of interesting new improvements.

99 rooms on each level of the pyramid
All of the 9 levels of original gameplay
4 styles of on-screen joystick controls
Two game graphics modes: Modern GFX (default) and Retro GFX 8-bit graphics (selectable)
Parallax background effect in Modern GFX mode
Resume function: You can close the game at any moment! Your current progress is automatically saved and later you can continue right where you were.

Als würde man auf dem Atari 800 spielen!

Ich habe das Spiel vor mehr als 20 Jahren zuletzt gespielt, nächtelang mit einem Kumpel auf dem Atari 800.
Endlich geht das auch auf dem iPhone!
Die Level sind identisch mit den Originalen von damals und auch der Sound ist genau der Gleiche. Die Steuerung ist natürlich nicht ganz so gut wie am 800er, aber sehr gut umgesetzt. Man kann zügig und sicher laufen und vor allem über die Abgründe, Schlangen, Totenköpfe usw. springen.
Zwar ist auch eine grafisch aufgepeppte Version dabei aber sorry, für die Generation 40+ kann es nur die alte Pixelversion geben!
Wer klassische Jump-and-run Spiele der 80er mag ist hier absolut richtig.

Nostalgie Pur !

Tolles Spiel, sehr gut umgesetzt. Das einzige Problem ist die Steuerung. Sehr schwer zu spielen auf dem Ipad.

Ok, aber...

Das Spiel ist Super, aber wegen den Control Tasten unspielbar, leider. Ist sein Geld leider nicht Wert, bitte nachbessern, wenn hier überhaupt noch entwickelt wird.

Die guten alten...

... Atari 800XL Zeiten. Ich bin hin und weg. Was für ein Klassiker. Tolle Umsetzung. Sogar im Retrostil :)).

Great - but Gamepad needed

OMG - One of the best Retro-Games is back!!
Great to see, that the Retro-GFX is supported.
BUT I have some problems with the OnScreen-Controlls :-(
Support for a GamePad-Gadget for the iPad would be nice!
