Spiel mit Langzeitmotivation
Ich spiele es schon seit Jahren und es macht immer noch Spaß. Mit den ganzen Erweiterungen in letzter Zeit sogar noch mehr. Die Dictionary-Funktion zum Nachschlagen der gespielten Begriffe ist auch sehr lehrreich, wenn man eben kein Muttersprachler ist.
Das Einzige, was mir noch fehlt, ist die Möglichkeit es auch in anderen Sprachen zu spielen, insbesondere halt Deutsch. Dann würde Wortgewandt bei mir sofort runterfliegen. Aber das Problem wird wohl sein, wirklich gute Wörterbücher dafür zu finden, damit es nicht daran krankt, dass ständig Wörter, die im Duden stehen, dann doch nicht erkannt werden.

Die tägliche Dosis Letterpress
Ich spiele dieses Spiel seit nunmehr über 2 Jahren nahezu jeden einzelnen Tag. Und es ist immernoch einfach großartig. Ich glaube ich habe noch nie ein Spiel so lange regelmäßig gespielt.

Viele Updates, mit denen ich eigentlich einverstanden bin.
Trotzdem spiele ich es ohne Zusatzfunktionen wie Word Validator. But: keep up the good work!

Crashes on start
I can't play any more because the app crashes every time I try to run it. This is unacceptable, I wonder how this passed review. I guess nobody tests with older iPhones anymore. Fix this or set the hardware requirements correctly so that I can get the old version which works.

Ansich ein cooles Game, man sollte aber ein Zeitlimit einfügen, es dauert ja nanchmal elendig lange bis der Gegner antwortet, da verliert man gleich die Lust!!

Prädikat "Sehr gut"
Simple und trotzdem einfallsreiche Animation der Buchstaben ist sehr einfallsreich und macht Lust auf mehr. Die Sounduntermalung ist passend und nicht zu aufdringlich. Die GameCenter-Unterstützung macht das Spiel perfekt. Leider nur in Englisch und nicht multilingual. Das sollte man vorher wissen, wer sich dennoch drauf einlässt bekommt ein perfektes Rätselspiel mit hohem Suchtfaktor.

Diese App ist zwar der hammer und ich spiel damit schon ewigkeiten, aber eine neue App "Wortgewandt" ist dasselbe spiel, nur auf deutsch... wer etwas abwechslung zum englischen sucht, ist damit gut bedient! und vor allem funktioniert's auch ohne gamecenter...

Almost perfect ...
A function to tell the opponent that you want to pause would be nice, so he or she won't wait in vain.
And maybe a way to memorize words you discovered but don't need at the moment.
All in all a wonderful mixture between scrabble an chess.

… if there would be a single english word containing a “Q“ but not a “U”. And no, “IRAQ” doesn't work. Resigning the game would – and that's not an option.
Please fix either the tile layout or the dictionary and get a five star voting easily… that would be nice.

Nerviges Geräusch
Ich finde das Spiel macht Spaß, allerdings finde ich es ziemlich störend, dass man jedes mal mit einem geräusch darauf aufmerksam gemacht wird, wenn man wieder an der Reihe ist und da auch nicht abzustellen ist. Nicht mal wenn die App geschlossen ist wird man verschont. Wäre Super, wenn man das mal ändern könnte. Daher erstmal nur 3 sterne...

Fun, but needs work
It's a really fun game but the letter grits and the dictionary seem somewhat too random. Way too often you'll get three Xs, Q without U, only two vowels, etc. and it knows words like "jeux" which is French, "hafiz", "qi" and "Zorro" but can't do with weekdays, months or country names and a variety of relatively common words.

Still needs a bit of work hence the 3* but a good game!
Dictionary for a start needs work as it does not have some very common words in it! (and it uses the American spelling a lot)
The game centre load times can be a pain, not sure if this down to the app or gamecentre itself.
I used teddybear in one game and in the next turn it said i could not use teddy as it was a prefix to teddybear but it allowed teddybears????
Some of the game boards are not so good as the letters it generates can be useless. I.e i had a game with 3 X's and a Q (no U) even with a proper dictionary by my side we could not use them!
All in all a good game and i'm sure the future updates will solve the very few problems i find with it.
Oh and to the update writer yes we do read "these things" and it was the best laugh i'd had all day!

Unusable on the WiFi iPad
The game is quite entertaining, but it just won't work on the WiFi iPad. Have to restart the game every turn so it know the opponent has played...

Like just one commenter asked before: German dictionary would be great because we wouldn't have to go out and beat you up in your own language. And holy moly yes - do we read the release notes. By the way the color themes need some work but definetly the best free game out there. I donated ahem purchased the full version just to show my love. Keep up the good work!

Eigentöich ein tolles Spiel aber die Gamecenter-Anbindung ist grottenschlecht. Züge gehen verloren oder es dauert eeeewig lang, bis die App sie bemerkt. Die Mitteilungszentrale zeigt mitunter 24 Stunden(!!!!!!!) vorher an, was mein Gegner gelegt hat...am GC kann es demnach nicht liegen.

Eigentlich...
Eigentlich gefällt mir das Spiel ganz gut. Leider bekomme ich des öfteren einen Fehler angezeigt und muss die App erst schließen, damit es wieder weitergeht. Schön wäre es, wenn man unterschiedliche Sprachen spielen könnte & man sollte dringend ein Zeitlimit einführen. Ansonsten 👍

Fantastisch, aber ...
... ein paar Punkte gibt es dennoch zu wünschen:
* Andere Sprachen (Deutsch)
* Win- or Loose-Sound/Sign
Das Spiel ist immer so plötzlich zuende und es ist nicht auf einen Blick erkenntlich ob man gewonnen oder doch verloren hat.
* Verlorene Spiele in der Übersicht mit blasser Schrift und Aktive mit heller und deutlicher Schrift.

An sich sehr schöne Spielidee, allerdings crashed die App bei mir alle 5-10 Züge komplett & muss neu gestartet werden. (iPhone 4, iOS6). Vielleicht wird das Icon auch noch geändert, aber das ist ja bekanntermaßen Geschmackssache.
