Designed as 'the magazine for the progressive game angler and fly tyer', it has featured articles from the best authors in the game - John Goddard, Oliver Edwards, Davy Wotton, Taff Price, Davie McPhail, Darrel Martin, Robert Gillespie, Terry Griffiths, Marvin Nolte, Bill Logan, Bob Wyatt - and is today widely accepted as the most authorative and respected monthly journal covering fly fishing techniques and tactics along with fly dressing - both innovative and traditional - instruction and tips, patterns and recipes, encompassing any fish species that will take a fly - from trout and grayling to salmon, sea trout, pike, and all saltwater species.
