It does not matter if you are at Frankfurt for business or leisure, Frankfurt Metro can provide a cost effective, quick solution to move around. Whether you want to go to the main shopping street - Zeil, visiting the trade fair – Messe or need to catch a flight, using trains would be the quickest and the most economical way. It has detailed metro rail map, route planner, euro converter with travel tips & other useful information.
With the detailed metro map with the station locator you can skip carrying a paper map. This app for iphone & ipad covers entire Frankfurt Metropolis with its suburbs for S & U bahn trains. The entire app works offline except the euro converter exchange rate update (few analytics, related to the app, will be gathered only when the app have access to WiFi internet connection). Euro converter also works offline while the data connection is unavailable with the last updated currency rates.
Visiting the Frankfurt trade fair - Messe
If you are at Frankfurt to visit a trade fair then get there quickly from airport, main train station, from your hotel or any where from the city. Most of the trade fair tickets are covered with free train journey within Frankfurt. Taxis are expensive and time consuming during peak hours on fair days. Messe Frankfurt fair ground is just two stations away from the main train station – Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof. A separate route planner is available for the trade fair along with the map of the fair grounds with halls and train stations marked.

This app has problems
I came down here to visit the military base. I live in Hamburg, Germany. I was on the wrong train and I could not find a schedule or a good map of the trains and routes to find my way back to the place at Niederrad where I had parked my car.
I downloaded this app on the desperate hope it would help me find my way back to the Hauptbahnhof and then to the train station where my car was. The app did not give times and the map was hard to read and unhelpful.
Eventually my wife who is German found the correct route and train back to Hauptbahnhof and two lines that went to where I parked, but the app had no times so I did not know which one would be there first or was better to take.

Super gut
Einfache aber geniale App. Wer als Fremder im Frankfurt mit S und U Bahn fahren will, ist hier gut aufgehoben.
