Neue Funktionen von Version 4.8.1
We've been getting feedback, from the SkinVision community, that the automatic camera for risk assessments is difficult to use and/or understand. In the past couple of months our team worked incredibly hard to plan and implement new ways of improving our image capturing process.
With this version, SkinVision uses a new automatic camera that should make taking pictures for assessments easier than ever before. This is only the first step in a list of improvements aimed at providing clarity and easy of use to the user.
As always, we are constantly improving the app to make taking care of your skin health as easy as possible. Funktioniert hinten und vorne nicht oder stürzt auch gerne mal ab. Ob das Ergebnis überhaupt brauchbar wäre, bleibt ohnehin fraglich. Lieber ab zum Hautarzt!

Leider war kein ausprobieren möglich da die App nur mit einer Facebook Anmeldung nutzbar ist.
Also jeder der seine Daten nicht blind verbreiten möchte und/oder kein Facebook Account hat, braucht diese App gar nicht erst zu laden.

es gibt eigentlich 0 Sterne denn diese App hat noch nicht einmal funktioniert! Zig Mal habe ich versucht ein Foto von Hautflecken zu machen aber schon das will nicht klappen. Auf den besagten blauen Kreis wartet man vergeblich. Diese App ist somit völlig nutzlos.

Zwei Sachen, die mir gar nicht gefallen haben.
1. Man muss zwingend einen Account anlegen bevor man die App überhaupt nutzen kann. Ebenso ist eine umfangreiche EULA abzunicken.
2. Nicht ein Muttermal konnte bei mir erfolgreich gescannt werden. Nichts klappte.

An und für sich praktisch. Man kann aber nicht verschiedene Muttermale archivieren, um dann irgendwann bei Bedarf eine Analyse einzulösen. Die ersten fünf gespeicherten werden analysiert, auch wenn man nur "archive" drückt. Nur die Fotos von analysieren Muttermalen werden auch auf die Website hochgeladen.

App erkennt Leberflecken / Läsionen unzuverlässig (es werden erst gar keine Fotos gemacht). Auf haariger Haut (soll es bei Männern geben) so gut wie unmöglich, ein verwertbares Bild zu erzeugen. Klappt dann doch mal eine Analyse, bleibt der verwendete Algorithmus aber auch völlig schleierhaft.
Das Beste ist aber: nach 5 Analysen wird man wieder zur Kasse gebeten! 2,69€ für einen Monat; 21,99€ für ein Jahr. Ansonsten ist die App nur noch als Fotoalbum nutzbar.
Außerdem inklusive: da für iPhone 5 optimiert, werden bei älteren Geräten bestimmte Buttons, die zur Weiternavigation unumgänglich sind, nicht angezeigt (zu weit unten sind sie). Toll. Da hilft nur noch App neustarten.
Wobei, eigentlich hilft nur noch - wie auch geschehen - den Homescreen ordentlich zum Wackeln bringen und ab in die Tonne mit der App :)
