I cannot use Didi because I never receive the code by sms on to my German phone number. No matter how often I send it, I never receive it. So annoying. Why can I not login without a stupid phone number.

War früher in Ordnung nun nicht mehr
Ich nutze es viel, teilweise nicht auf Englisch und ohne Ende Fehlermeldungen. Neuerdings soll ich vorab bezahlen aber mir wird das Zahlen mit meiner Kreditkarte nicht angeboten und alle anderen Möglichkeit enden auf Chinesisch und mit einem Fehler. Daher aktuell komplett nutzlos.

Translations missing, not working in Australia
App is a mix of English and Chinese. Why??? App does not work in Australia where Didi is active. Why??? Seems there‘s a separate app just for Australia which is not available for international travellers. Why??? So many questions. Please fix it.

Inzwischen perfekt
Ich bin 3-4 mal im Jahr in China. Habe keine chinesische Mobile Nummer und kein bank account hier. Geht mit t- mobile und Mastercard perfekt. Keine Diskussionen mit den Taxifahrer mehr. Ziel eingeben, 10 sec warten, Fahrer auswählen und schnell und sicher zum Ziel. Wie gesagt inzwischen perfekt. Danke

I use the app everyday and for people who live in china it’s pretty much a must have.
One thing bothers me often, taxi driver accept the trip and immediately start the trip even so they haven’t arrived yet. Once the trip started there is no way for the passenger to cancel it anymore. That needs to be fixed!

The App is not so efficient and sometimes drivers are so cunning.. they cancel the order and the DIDI app charges customer for this... I would not recommend this..

DiDi saved my life!
I’m a foreigner and I’m living since three years in China and since I can use DiDi my life is soooo much better! You can choose the different drivers in different car classes and they bring you safely from A to B! I love it!

No more English
It worked quite well for me in Shanghai, since the app was getting an English version in 2017. But since 2018, there is no more English language supported in the app. Therefore useless again for foreigners...

Für Ausländer ideal
DIDI ist optimal um in China von A nach B zu reisen, wer sich länger in China aufhält und eine Chinesische Handynummer besitzt kann auf jeden Fall Problemlos die App nutzen, solange Englisch oder Chinesisch keine Hindernisse für den Nutzer ist.
Ein Stern ziehe ich jedoch ab, da man im Vorfeld die Adresse suchen muss und wie sie geschrieben ist, die Funktion, einen Punkt als Ziel zu Markieren wäre sinnvoll und sicherlich für viele eine super Ergänzung.
Deutsche Kreditkarten funktionieren bei DiDi Problemlos.

Does not work with my German mobile phone number
Didi does not accept my German mobile phone number. It insists on two more digits than I have. Adding two zeros at the start or end does not work. A pitty as this is the de-facto monopoly for getting a taxi in China.

Finally in english. Note the pinyin names of your fav targets in notebook and it will be easy to find them. Would be great to have the possibility to store more targets in the didi adress book. Now it's only home and company. That's why only 4 stars.

This App ruined Shanghai for me
Due to this app it is not possible anymore to get a taxi in Shanghai on the street as a visitor. No taxi will stop anymore. An if you want to use the app you need a Chinese cellphone number. That's so ridiculous! Why can't you just call a cab via the app and the driver would pick you up. Also unless your offer a ridiculous tip which is more then the complete fare no driver will pick you up also with this app.
