Great app when you are driving around and are looking for a place to camp. Also good for planning ahead. If you send in pictures they respond promptly and publish them. The app was a BIG help whilst in New Zealand for 4 weeks.

Runde Sache!
Die Karte ist offline nutzbar und enthält wenn nicht alle, dann doch die meisten Campingplätze (mit und ohne Gebühren) in Neuseeland. Dazu viele Informationen, Kontaktdaten, Fotos, Bewertungen etc. War für uns im NZ-Urlaub die erste Anlaufstelle bei der Suche nach Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten!

Diese App ist wirklich eine prima Hilfe für jeden Neuseeland-Reisenden! Manche Tankstellen und Dump-Stations sind allerdings nicht aufgeführt. Trotzdem: Großes Kompliment an das Team!

Dieses App zeigt nur die Campingplätze an, die für Wohnmobile erlaubt ist (self contained vehicle's)-
Aber nicht für Campervan's!
Lieber 3$ für das App "Wiki-Camps"" ausgeben-
Findet 10x so viele Campingplätze und hat dazu x-mal mehr Funktionen!

Diese App kann ich nur jedem empfehlen der in Neuseeland einen Camping Urlaub plant! Durch die Möglichkeit die komplette App offline zu nutzen ist sie bestens geeignet um sich täglich nach einem schönen Campingplatz umzusehen, Bewertungen anderer zu lesen und Kontakt zum Ranger aufzunehmen falls eine Buchung nötig ist. Sind aber auch sehr viele Kostenlose Plätze verzeichnet.

If you have this APP you do not need any map for New Zealand which is very helpful. It is the easiest way to find a campground, an i-Site or interesting things to do in the area.

We used it when we traveled for 2 month just the south island. It was perfekt an totally helpful. And it is easier than with a normal map.

Very helpfull - worth the money
Very helpfull and reliable app. Worth the money. Just make sure you download the offline maps from home. Took us a while in NZ to get all the downloads we needed.

A good investment for everyone traveling around NZ with a campervan. We used it for navigation as well.
Good hints!
We travelled around the north island with a campervan this october (2013) and used this app very often to find a place to stay overnight. Very helpful, though not all places were marked on the map nor does it have a description for every place mentioned.

- Preis noch etwas runter (9,99€)
- detailliertere Preisangaben bei der Platzübersicht
- offline-Kartendownload dauert sehr lange, Server könnten flotter sein
Sehr gute Hilfe beim Freedom Camping
Wir haben die App für 4 Wochen in NZ genutzt, vor allem um Dump Stations und Freedom Camping Plätze zu finden. Wenn man die Karten herunterlädt, kann man es auch als Offline Map verwenden. Das ist auch als Kartenmaterial sehr gut. Daher 5 Sterne.
Die Rezensionen sind nett, aber man sollte nicht alles für bare Münze nehmen bzw. Auf die Goldwaage legen. Mal erkennt man die Rezensionen wieder und mal nicht.

Incredibly useful
Thought this app was very expensive at the beginning, but it proved to be worth the price. We haven't found any other comprehensive overview of camping sites in NZ, especially including the free ones. Offline maps were very helpful.
However, some small details like switching between online and offline mode when you don't have internet should be improved.
