In this update:
It's wintertime and Hopscotch is ready. Create a winter wonderland with ELEVEN BRAND NEW winter characters. Including penguin, polar bear, sleigh, elf yeti and Gonzalo the snowman. This is big, folks.
And even more new goodies for you:
- A much requested feature: stretch and size your characters with perfect precision using the "set width and height" block.
- Making fast collisions will be much easier now that you can access the exact width and height of any given character. Find these in the object values section of the keyboard.
- By special request from ThinBuffaloSr: you can finally use >= and <= conditions in your code. If you don't know what that means, keep Hopscotchin' and you will soon!- For those of you lucky enough to get your hands on a new iPad pro, this version of Hopscotch takes full advantage of that beautiful edge-to-edge screen.
- No need to log in when you start Hopscotch for the first time, we'll make you a guest account til you're ready to sign up for the real thing.
- You recently got a cool new block: "when not pressed". With this release, you can long press it to learn more.
- If your device volume was muted, you couldn't hear sounds in a Hopscotch project. Now you can!
- It was really annoying if you dragged a character to the bottom center of the screen and it would cover up the plus button to add new characters. Now it'll sit behind the plus button where it belongs.

Nett
Nette Spielerei, würd gern dafür bezahlen, aber 7,99 sind Zuviel dafür
ohne eigenen Customer Content ( eigene Bilder, malen) geht die Lust mehr auszuprobieren schnell verloren

Price was updated earlier then res adjusted??
In terms I see price of 7.99$ per month and 79.99$ per year, but in app it’s 8.99€ and 90.99€ corresponding.

Super app
Ich (11 Jahre) habe es damit kompexe Spiele programmiert
Das einzige Problem ist wenn Mann nicht logisch denken kann ist die app für einen nur praktisch wen Man die spiele von anderen ausprobieren will.(keine angst es ist nicht so schwer wie echtes programmieren.🎮 Mann muss es sich einfach beibringen und dann kann man in unter 1std richtig 🆒e spiele programmieren.)

Ist Ganz einfach man muss es nur lernen.
Ich hab es mir selber beigebracht und mach auf diesem programm sehr viele gute Spiele in innerhalb von Ca. 20 min.

Vor ein paar Updates war es noch cool und schön, aber jetzt muss man ZAHLEN, dass man Bilder einfügen oder eigene Charaktere erstellen kann. Echt eine Frechheit!

An sich OK, aber...
...unglaublich, dass die Entwickler einem dafür, dass man eigene Fotos einfügen darf, ein Monatsabo für mehr als 7.00 € aufschwatzen wollen. Außerdem gibt es keine Undo-Funktion - wenn man aus Versehen (passiert oft) etwas löscht, ist es halt weg. Das Speichern funktioniert auch nicht immer, die Menüführung der App ist unübersichtlich, die Möglichkeiten der App und damit die Ergebnisse der Community dürftig. Trotzdem ist es für Kinder zum Erlernen der Basics OK.

Gute Idee, nett gemacht, aber Möglichkeiten sehr beschränkt
Gute Idee, nett gemacht, ein prima Einstieg für erste Programmiererfolge. Allerdings stößt man dabei schnell an die Grenze der Möglichen, die Hopscotch bietet: so gibt es nur sehr beschränkte (vorgegebene) Wenn-dann-Funktionen, keine bedingten Schleifen, keine mathematischen Funktionen (außer zu einer Variablen etwas dazu zu addieren), nur vorgegebene Objekte (keine Möglichkeit, eigene Bilder zu verwenden), keine Töne und last not least keine Möglichkeit, das erstellte Programm definiert enden zu lassen. Man kann sich zwar Programme von der Hopscotch-Plattform herunterladen und eigene Programme hochladen, hier fehlen aber weitergehende Möglichkeiten zum Austausch. Man kann auch keine Sequenzen aus anderen Programmen in das eigene kopieren. Schade!

Die Idee ist gut...
Aber die Umsetzung ist schlecht. Besser wäre es, wenn:
- man auf die Attribute der Objekte wie auf Variablen zugreifen könnte,
- es if-Blöcke und while-Schleifen gäbe, in die man präzise formulierte Bedingungen eintragen könnte statt dieser stark eingeschränkten Bedingungsblöcke
- man als Bilder für die Objekte eigene Bilder einstellen könnte, die man aus Fotoalben importiert.
Wenn das alles geht, dann gibts auch 5*!
