The TRADITIONAL XSHEET makes timing easier and has thumbnail images so you can see what you're doing.
DRAWING is Smooth and Natural. So whether you’re working on your first pencil test or your final masterpiece, it’s going to look great.
The LIGHTBOX (onion skin) is automatic making it easier and more versatile.
ONLY FlipPad lets you change the timing while the scene is playing so you can see the results immediately.
FlipPad’s unique PAINTING tools are designed specifically for painting animation cels and that makes them faster and more more powerful. Drag the paint bucket to fill like a brush or touch and hold the bucket the fill the entire character.
You can PLAY, PAUSE, STEP and SCRUB through your animation to scrutinize every frame to get it just right.
You can ADD SOUND and time your animation to sync with lips, action or anything.
IMPORT MOVIES to draw over or use as reference to help you learn to animate.
And of course you can SHARE your movies with friends on social media pages.
IN-APP UPGRADE
The in-app UPGRADE to FLIPPAD PRO adds support the Apple Pencil and gives you full HD resolution, 16 million colors, custom color palettes and up to 10 layers and 1,000 frames. It also lets you drag the bucket so you can paint much faster and easier.

Coole Sache
Macht Mega Spaß, dauert nur bisschen sich an die Bedienung zu gewöhnen. "Save Frames..." Macht bei mir gar nichts, wäre aber höchst nützlich, deshalb nur 4 sterne

Stürzt ab & hängt & ist EXTREM langsam
In der Pro Version gibt es leider nicht so viele Funktionen, die App ist sehr langsam und STÜRZT STÄNDIG AB! Der Kauf lohnt sich nicht, bei Absturz geht das gemalte verloren. Im Menü tut sich gar nichts, man wartet mindestens 5 Minuten bis sich mal irgendwas öffnet und mir fehlen ein paar wichtige Funktionen so wie eine vernünftige Anleitung!!

Gut für Traditionelle Animatoren
Ich bin zwar kein traditioneller Animator aber diese App ist trotzdem sehr gut für Traditionelle Disney Animation da sie auch alles hat was man braucht nicht mehr und nicht weniger. Besonders gefällt es mir das sich die Dicke des Stiftes mit dem Druck ändert :D kann’s allen Traditionellen Animatoren empfehlen! Falls du keiner bist dann ignorier die App einfach und such dir eine andere die her für dich ist ;)

Ein großer Hacken
An sich eine sehr gute App, welche echt leicht zu bedienen ist. Doch leider hängt sie sich gerne auf und somit ist es zu vor gezeichnete dann weg weil man die App neu starten muss. Was super wäre ist eine Zwischenspeicherfunktion, dass man nicht immer von vorne anfangen muss.

Ganz o.k. mit viel Verbesserungspotential
Die aktuelle Version ist intuitiv bedienbar und hat Potential. Ich vermisse aber nach wie vor ein paar Tools und Optionen, die in ein "CreativeApp" einfach gehören. Und jetzt friert auch noch der Screen im Projektauswahlmenü ein. Ich kann kein neues Projekt starten oder ein erstelltes Projekt öffnen. Bugfix please.

Macht Spaß
Die App macht vor allem mit dem Apple Pen spaß. Die Bedienung erschließt sich einem nicht auf Anhieb und man muss schon etwas rum probieren bis man klarkommt. Ich vermisse mehr Layer und eine funktionierende Füllfunktion. Im Hinblick auf den Preis der Pro Version ist es ein fairer Deal.

As I said before, with the latest update everything works pretty much as it should. Thanks for that again!
But please don't stop here! There is so much more potential in this App!
Funktions I miss when working with FlipPad:
- Some more Brushes
- Settings for the Eraser
- The option to select drawings and move and scale them
- A Background, that lays behind the animated frames (To, for example, create settings or lines of action and arcs to follow)
These are things that need to be there in order to become as amazing as I think you can be!
