The official app for Citi Bike, NYC’s bike share system.
Citi Bike consists of a fleet of specially designed, sturdy and durable bikes that are locked into a network of docking stations throughout the city. Our bikes can be unlocked from one station and returned to any other station in the system, making them ideal for one-way trips. Bike share is a greener, healthier way to get around — whether you’re commuting, running errands, meeting friends, or exploring in a new city.
The Citi Bike app gives you access to thousands of bikes in your area — unlock and pay directly from the app and get going.
The Citi Bike app also shows upcoming public transit departures, including MTA subway trains, shuttles, local, limited, & express buses, LIRR commuter rail trains, Metro-North commuter rail trains, PATH rapid transit trains, Bee-Line local & express buses, NYC Ferries, the Staten Island Ferry, the AirTrain JFK, the AirTrain Newark, the Roosevelt Island Tramway, and NJT commuter rail trains, light rail trains, & buses.

Easy & reliable

Funktioniert zuverlässig und einfach.
Auch das parken nach 30min ist unproblematisch.
Einfach kurz in eine der Stationen stellen, die wirklich überall und gut verteilt sind. Das System "locked" das bike innerhalb von 2 sek.. Danach kann man es direkt wieder buchen und weiter fahren.
Wir haben uns somit ein komplettes Wochenticket für die Metro in New York gespart 👌

Jederzeit zu empfehlen

Citibike ist sicherlich die beste Alternative NYC zu erkunden. Allerdings wäre es noch entspannter, wenn es bei nur vollen Docks in der Umgebung eine kostenfreie Verlängerung von 10 Minuten zur Fahrt zur nächsten Station gäbe!

Navigation resets

Navigation resets everytime when phone is locked or locks automatically.
Not helpful when cruising around the city and having to enter the address over and over again.

Easy easier Citi bike

Great experience, you can test multiple bikes and the app leads you always to the next station and tells you from how many bikes you can select. Unlock ride and return really easy. Just doubleck the bike itself when unlocking, some of them have small issues ( as expected as really frequently used by bikers) every time again 😀

Perfect app

Just the perfect app. Buying the ticket inside the app worked great. I could always see ahead if the stations had enough bikes or empty places for my bike. I love the app!
