Hi everyone,
Almost two years have passed since I last updated my Symbols app (which was my first iOS app ever!). A lot has changed since then but one of the things which remained constant is that some people still found this little tool very useful. I was surprised by the amount of emails I got when Symbols Keyboard stopped working properly last fall — apparently the app was still alive and being actively used. Sadly, at the time I was busy working on my more important projects and, being good at procrastination, fixing that keyboard issue took me a few months (but in reality I spent just about three hours on this bug). Anyway, sorry for the delay.

Sehr nützlich!

Ich nutze die App fast wöchentlich. Sei es für die Schule, wenn ich eine Dokumenten in Pages schreibe oder eine Präsentationen in Keynote erstelle, oder für den privaten Gebrauch, zum Beispiel um einen coolen und einzigartigen (Spieler-)Namen in meinem Lieblingsspiel zu erstellen.
Empfehlenswert ist diese App für jeden, der gerne kreative Namen erstellt oder oft mit bspw. verschiedenen Pfeilen oder (z.B. mathematischen) Symbolen in Präsentationen arbeitet.

Schon sehr gut.
Ich wünschte es wären auch Sachen wie Quadrat, oder Kubik als hochgestellte Zahlen implementiert.

Sympathische kleine App!

Ohne langes Suchen hat man jede Menge Symbole zur Verfügung.
Praktische "Favoriten"-Funktion.

Tastatur läuft nicht mit iOS 10, leider kein Update geplant :-(

Hier die heutige Mail (29.10.2016) des Entwicklers:
"Hi there
I am aware that the app keyboard doesn’t work on iOS 10.
However, I am at the moment no longer able to actively work on this app.
I know this sucks, sorry. I may fix this in the future, but not right now.

Doesn’t work on iOS 10

Symbols has been my favourite app to type unicode characters. However, with iOS 10 the keyboard doesn’t show up when selected.

Great for iOS 9, not so much for iOS 10

Symbols used to work great with iOS 9. Only when I updated to iOS 10.0.1 did Symbols stop working. I can still switch to the Symbols keyboard, but I don't see any symbols to select. Hoping for an update…
