THE swiss army knife to handle NMEA0183 & NMEA2000 data.
NMEAconnect can connect to any NMEA source like TCP/UDP, internal/external GPS, Simulation or Logfile or act as an NMEA server/bridge due TCP/UDP.
Each source or server can block several selected NMEA sentences, substitute their Talker ID or set a minimum time filter.
With NMEAconnect you have:
- a NMEA multiplexer, hub or switch
- a server of the internal GPS Position as NMEA data to an external device
- ‚unlimited‘ NMEA log
- Background Logging (Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.)
- nmeaconnect:// protocol to provide NMEA data to e.g. a Filemaker database

Sehr nützliches Tool
Ich bin selbst iOS-Entwickler und verwende die App um NMEA-Quellen in mySeaMap einzubauen. Durch die Verwendung des internen GPS und der Simulation ist das ganz einfach, auch wenn man keine echte NMEA-Hardware hat. Wünschenswert wäre noch, dass die App auch im Hintergrund weiterläuft, nicht nur für 3 Minuten. Unter iOS7 sollte das möglich sein.
