Wie machen sie das?
FluentU lässt dich zuerst ein Video mit interaktiven Untertiteln sehen. Musikvideos und Werbung in der entsprechenden Muttersprache kommen dir damit näher, denn jetzt kannst du auf ein beliebiges Wort klicken, um nützliche Bilder, Definitionen und Beispielsätze zu sehen. FluentU stellt die bekannten Wörterbücher in den Schatten.
Zweitens verwandelt FluentU die Videos in interaktive Sprachlernkurse und Spiele. Szenen aus Filmtrailern werden zu Fragen, die dir helfen, die Grammatik der Sprache, wie auch Dialogsätze zu lernen. Unsere interaktiven Lernkarten sind vollständig personalisiert, um dich so zu unterrichten, wie es für dich am besten ist.
Mit FluentU kannst du Spanisch, Französisch, Mandarin-Chinesisch, Deutsch, Japanisch und Englisch lernen.

Sehr gut, interessante Videos
Ich finde den Französisch-Kurs für Anfänger sehr gut. Der Englisch-Kurs für Fortgeschrittene hat mich nicht überzeugt. Aber wirklich eine tolle App!

Always recommend
Im learning Japanese with this app and it's really nothing short of fun and very easy to use! The interface is a joy to look at, very well designed, navigation is clear and the content very thoughtfully put together and assembled to learn efficiently.
Only thing that is a bummer is the price, but hey? nothings for free in life and that's no reason to not give this a five star rating.

This app is a must have . I'm learning so much on daily basis. It's highly entertaining and fun way to learn a language .I highly recommend this !!! You won't regret using it .

Impressive
Wouldn't recommend for total beginners (I'm using it for Japanese), but if you can at least read the alphabet of the language you're going for this has to be the most logically and well structured app out of all I tried and I tried a lot.
Just needs some work with the text to speech software its using sometimes. Other than that it's amazingly effective because they actually bother to explain how things work grammatically instead of just making you repeat semtences.

Super Idee um Sprachen zu vermitteln.
Hierbei bildet man sich nicht nur sprachlich weiter sondern auch kulturell und intellektuell mit teilweise sehr schönem Videomaterial.

Nice approach but videos not always in sync
Nice approach with an extensive amount of short videos and audio resources all including subtitles. Unfortunately the videos cannot be downloaded in advance and they are currently not in sync.

Great concept
I can't believe I haven't found this app earlier. This helps incredibly well with improving your listening comprehension, and the built in quiz helps studying new words, phrases and grammar. The grammar points are well explained and come with a variety of example sentences. Only downside is the robotic voice that reads the samples. Also, the progress bar for each video fills up a little too slow for my taste, maybe there's room for some improvement. Other than that, it's a great aid for your Japanese language studies.

The videos are really helpful! And the vocabulary is actually really useful. I just wish there was a way to test yourself without having to upgrade. Oh well but at the same time their plans are much cheaper than actual classes, so I really can't complain!

Works really well. Only think that needs to be improved is the change of language learning levels as it does not show my course in the sidebar anymore once you do that.
