WOO is an app for kiteboarders, by kiteboarders! Record GPS sessions with your phone or Apple Watch, and/or clip on a WOO, and play the games you love not on the couch, but in the great outdoors, being active. Available games include Kite - Big Air, where riders battle for highest jump, Kite - Freestyle, where landing freestyle tricks with a low kite ups your score, and Kite - Freeride (100% free!), where riders can post GPS session.
Every game puts your riding on the global stage. Post a session to share, compare, and compete with riders worldwide. Everyone from local first-timers to international pros are posting their sessions, progressing their riding and sharing the stoke. Join the WOO community and see how you stack up on the leaderboards!
The WOO Sports App is available for iPhone 4S and higher, running iOS 8 and higher. You can record and post a Freeride GPS session with your Apple Watch, with no WOO sensor or PRO subscription needed - it is 100% free! To post a Big Air, Big Air Analytics or Freestyle session, a WOO sensor needs to be recording during your session. The WOO 1.0 sensor supports the Kite - Big Air game only, the WOO 2.0 sensor supports all games except Freeride, the WOO 3.0 sensor supports all games except Freeride and includes an integration with your Apple Watch to show live jumps.

Note: To post a GPS session or Analytics+ session with the WOO PRO Membership, GPS is required. iPads and iPods will not be able to record with WOO Sports. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

The new and slick Apple Health Kit integration makes the WOO and an Apple Watch a match made in kiteboarding heaven! It allows you to post Freeride (GPS) sessions right from your Apple Watch, which is 100% free and does not require a WOO! For our WOO users, we've added the ability to combine GPS with Jump data, and for PRO users, there is a brand new Jump Map! 3.14.3 saw the bug squash team in full force again.
- We fixed a bug with session combine, where it was impossible to save a second session on the same day at a different spot
- Eliminated a crash that happened on rare occasions when uploading sessions
- Updated the Apple Watch app, which eliminated a crash that could occur when ending a session on the watch
3.14.4 contains various improvements for the Apple Watch app

Wann kommt Woo Wake zurück?
Seit Mitte Juli kündigt ihr eine Version für Wake an, nachdem die App auf Kite only umgestellt wurde. Die Saison ist jetzt vorbei und immer noch kein Update bzw. eine eigene Wake App. Kann ich das Teil jetzt wegwerfen oder lohnt es sich, das Mount am Board zu lassen?

I updated to the newest version and it switched to kite mode. There is no way to switch back to wakeboarding any more. So I bought a 150€ device that I can not use any more. Are you serious?

☠️👹 Messungen unpräzise - Support braucht ewig
Mal ehrlich, ein Stück Plastik mit etwas Technik und einer dazu gehörigen App für über 130€ zu kaufen ist ansich schon dubios oder dämlich (Marketing mach [leider] vieles möglich).
Noch seltsamer wird es, wenn man es trotzdem gemacht hat: Der Support braucht mitunter 2-3 Wochen, um auf eine Lapalie zu antworten. Was soll das?
Hinzu kommt: Die Messwerte des Woo3 können allenfalls als ungefähr gewertet werden, denn das was ich auf Videos sehe und mit den Ergebnissen nach einer Session in Einklang zu bringen versuche, passt nicht. Gar nicht. Überhaupt nicht. Und JA, der Woo, bzw. die Halterung wurde korrekt am Board montiert!!!
Ich kann unterm Strich nur abraten, so ein Teil zu kaufen. Einerseits wegen der oben erwähnten Schwächen und andererseits auch deshalb, weil es vom Wesentlichen ablenkt: Den wohl geilsten Sport der Welt vollends zu genießen und sich nicht von Technik ablenken zu lassen.

poor service, device not working
no session download possible. horrible service, need to wait 2 weeks until support team sends a replay. exchange device has no functionality either. waste of money!

Kann App nicht auf meine Nixon Mission laden
Die App und der Sensor funktionieren jetzt nach dem Update super, dann habe ich mir die Nixon Mission gekauft, da sie auf der Liste der kompatiblen Uhren steht. Jetzt sagt mir die App, dass für beiden nicht kompatibel sind.
Welche Lösung habt ihr?

Seit dem kann man auf Iphone oder ipad keine Spots mehr sehen. Und auch die Rangliste geht Spotmäßig nicht mehr. Sehr ärgerlich

Ohjeh ganz schwache App inzwischen
Der Spotfilter funktioniert nicht mehr. Einer der Grundgedanken dieser App geht damit ziemlich verloren. Was will ich wissen ob ich weltweit Platz 4000 und oder so bin. Interessant ist doch was wer an dem Spot bis jetzt gesprungen ist.
Würde derzeit einen WOO bei dieser Problematik nicht wieder kaufen.

Verbindung zum Server klappt nicht. Schade. Die Abo-Idee ist auch miserabel. Sehr schade.

Prinzipiell funktioniert das App, allerdings könnte man noch weitere Punkte implementieren:
- Durchschnittshöhe zB. In einer Session
Leider komme ich aktuell nicht mehr auf meine Sessions. Immer Server error...

Woo doesn’t update, now doesn’t connect
Update fails at 14%. Afterwards connecting the device to the phone (and downloading sessions) not possible. Tried rebooting, different phones, reinstalling app. Nothing helps.

App öffnet sich und schließt gleich wieder. Sollte dringend gefixt werden.

Die App funktioniert leider nicht mehr nach dem letzten Update (11.05.2018). Sie stürzt ständig ab.

Aller super, macht genau was sie soll und das sehr zuverlässig. Das teilen mit Freunden und schauen wer wann wir unterwegs ist finde ich super und motiviert

Bin sowohl mit der App, dem Sensor und eurem Service absolut zufrieden. Wollte nur mal nachhören ob ihr plant was für die AppleWatch zu machen? Jetzt wo sie Cellular hat.... ;)

Die Hauptfunktion funktioniert nicht!
Ja das Problem ist bekannt, die App schafft es bei mir nicht die Daten vom Woo Sensor zu laden. Ich nutze das IPhone 6s, Software alles auf dem neusten Stand.

Obwohl 3g kann man nix in der App bearbeiten. Alles andere funktioniert ( Facebook , Videos streamen) warum geht es nicht bei dieser App?

Hat einer von euch Erfahrungen damit gemacht, dass nach dem Update auf 11 die Woo Daten nicht mehr auf das iPhone laden?

Where is the improvement? Laggy.
Only the frestyle-mode is new. But:
- one cannot longer view pictures full screen like before
- rider photos now just as tiny as stamps viewable
- have to tap mostly twice ore more to e. g. leave a comment
- where is the promised diary-feature for adding kite, size and board to the sessions?
Really sad about the "all new woo app".

Update gelungen.
Die neue App macht einen soliden Eindruck. Wenn man zwischen Wake und Kite wechseln will dann muss man sich erst ausloggen das könnte besser sein! Außerdem würde ich mich freuen wenn es auch fürs landboarden eine Rubrik gebe.
