Seen it twice in the cinemas and I must say, this is one of my favorites alongside Bohemian Rhapsody. Austin Butler absolutely nailed it and I hope he wins the Oscar next year!

I went to see this after reading and hearing very mixed reviews - glad I went because it was fantastic. Like a few other Baz Luhrmann films, it was lavish, hectic and , at times, it was hard to keep up. Austin Butler's portrayal of Elvis was the standout and it made up for the slightly irritating inclusion of Tom Hanks as the Colonel - performance highlights were the 68 comeback special and first Vegas performance! Going back to see it again before it leaves cinema

Baz has done it again!! A vibrant film that showcases Elvis as the performer he was. It also provides insight into the shady dealings of Col Tom Parker and how Elvis was taken advantage of, by the Col. The film depicts Elvis’ musical roots from his childhood growing up with black music & gospel.
Austin Butler is phenomenal as Elvis and the live performances are a stand out. Tom Hanks is also very good as the Col.

This is a wonderfully told story about Elvis and Colonel Parker. The cinematography, design, script, cast and exceptional music had me captivated and provoked a variety of emotions. It was uniquely creative in every aspect. I congratulate all involved on a standout movie and hope that all receive the accolades They deserve. Austin Butler was flawless as Elvis. Well done Baz Luhrmann, this is your best yet.

As a fan of Elvis I was looking forward to this film and saw it in the cinema on its release.
I was nervous it would disappoint as the movie does start off a little confusing and I’m not really into Baz Luhrmann’s style of directing. By the end of it though I felt I had been on an amazing ride. Elvis’s story combined with Baz’s directorial flare and Austin's talent is a truly great piece of cinema.
Thanks so much to all those that made this film! Highly recommended it!!

I would give this five stars, but I have two problems. The first one is Elvis’ voice. His voice can be (at times) hard to understand, having subtitles would’ve helped. My other one is the run time. I can stand long films, but the third act drags on 20 minutes too long. I would still see it in cinemas, but I’d buy a big and small popcorn

Baz Luhrmann has brought us a masterpiece. Austin Butler is incredible as Elvis. Really interesting story, blown away… Wow!! 🤩 🙌
