The main reason why emotional vampires are aggravating the way they are is because they haven’t matured just like everybody else. As we grow up, we learn how to get along with each other in mutually beneficial ways. We realize that other people are the same as we are, with their own needs and interests, and it’s wrong to impose our own agendas to them if they won’t get anything out of it.
