This book chronicles my real life adventures during the 2005-06 season as the head coach of the Chinese Women’s National Ice Hockey Team.

In a span of just two weeks in October of 2005, I left my job as a college hockey coach in the US, and was on a plane to China. I had never flown anywhere out of North America previously and I no knowledge of the Chinese language.

This led to many interesting stories as I managed this new adventure. I traveled with the team around parts of Finland, to Beijing and Jiamusi and a few other places in China. I traveled with my camera and snapped many photographs. I have included quite a few of those pictures in this book to enhance the stories.
