This movie’s weird version of Darth Vader murders children in this film, which sort of renders his redemption at the end of Return of the Jedi really weird. All the prequels are bad and best forgotten.

My favourite Star Wars movie!

Probably the best Star Wars made, much better than the abominations Disney have created. The score, visual effects and plot are all astounding and the actors may not of been given the best script but they pulled it off with amazing performances, Christensen and McGregor especially. This movie is a fantastic show of what Lucas can do, don’t listen to what the fat slobs and 10 year olds say about this movie it is a masterpiece!

Episode one was awful.
Episode 2 was a bit better.
Episode 3 was the best in the trilogy and my fourth favorite Star Wars film. When ever I rewatch the saga, I always look forward to this film. I guess because we finally see how Anaykin turns into Basie. It is also a very dark film. The acting at times wasn’t that good and I am still not a fan of Annie’s and Paddy’s romance. But my gosh, the visuals are off the roof. Ewen Magerogor, Frank Oz, Christopher and Ian Mcdaeod are all a delight playing althe characters. The story is much better. But still, it isn’t a perfect movie. But defiantly one to rewatch.
P.S. These Star Wars films wouldn’t be complete with lout John William’s score. The music in the prequels are so much intense and thrilling. :)

I only got 45 mins in, I just couldn’t take the ‘I’m making so much money being in a Star Wars Film’ smirk off Ewan’s face any longer. And the lead actor: wooden? Positively iner! Oh my God – I’ll spell that out for the generation who should be watching this film, that is teenagers and underdeveloped adults!
Ciao

Amazing just like ALL the Star Wars films! Best of the prequel trilogy, probably the best Star Wars film apart from Rogue One.

i just don’t get why people hate the prequels so much.

Why is it a 12

I have seen it on u tube and it is not fit to be a 12. It's nothing like the force awakens where people get impaled(3 times). It is the best prequel by far but not as good as the originals.

And as entertaining as my screensaver. It's like candy ... Makes you happy while you eat it but leaves you empty inside.

This brings a great drama to a conclusion, a young man finally coming to terms with his sexuality and despite the culture of his up-bringing, he holds his head up high and takes that giant leap into the life he always wanted but had denied himself. He throws away his old clothes, slaps on dark make-up and becomes the man he was destined to become. It’s quite simply beautiful and you will be cheering. The backdrop story of love, betrayal and political downfall all come to conclusion, but does not over-ride this sentimental drama of a man braving a new world against old ways. I can only guess there was a secret agenda making this movie, to say to the audience to grasp hold of their secret desires and fantasies and make their dreams come real. No wonder why this film is top rated amongst the gay community - it’s very much on par with' Priscilla Queen of the Desert’ and 'Preaching to the Perverted’ albeit in an advanced context of story telling. Will this film make you cry? By the end you’ll be throwing on your secret glam shoes and dancing down the street singing Abba songs. This is simply an amazing film.

The darkest and best of the prequels.

Star Wars Episode III Revenge of the Sith is arguably the best of the prequels and the darkest too, chronicling Anakin Skywalker's tragic turn to the dark side and his transformation into the villain we all know and love, Darth Vader. The special effects are great, the story moves along at a brisk pace and the ending battle is one of the highlights of the prequels and the turning point of the whole Star Wars Saga. A truly satisfying end to this trilogy and a great way of tying up the two trilogies to form the saga.

Episode 1 showed the world that Lucas had long forgotten what made his original creation so loved. A film about tax disputes staring the worst child actor of all time and the most annoying rubber CG alien sidekick ever created? What a great idea!
Episode 2 showed Lucas attempting to fix the mess he had created, but whilst he sidelined the rubber CG alien, he replaced the worst child actor of all time with the worst adult actor of all time. It's telling that Hayden Christensen's career vanished without trace once the prequels were over. He's a truly awful actor. That said, not even a good actor could salvage the mess of plotting Lucas came up with.
Episode 3 was Lucas' last attempt to pacify the fans, filled as it is with fan service. Hayden still stinks the place up, and his transition to the dark side is stunningly unconvincing. There's wall to wall CG and blue screen of course, which still looks totally unconvinging, and lots of derivative action scenes which fail to engage. The finale, long awaited by fans, is truly awful. After a horrible blue screen lightsabre fight we arrive at the infamous "noooooo" scene, where the fully suited Vader is made to look like a spoilt child. Lucas managed to destroy even Vader with this miserable trilogy.
All of these are one star films. So much money was spent on such poor scripting, acting, and blue screening. Fortunately Lucas is now gone, but this miserable trilogy sadly remains.

A fitting conclusion to the corruption of Anakin and the rise of Vader. Palpatine oozes evil and is overlooked but the movie is just perfect. Words cannot describe, it is just brilliant.

I saw this film twice at the cinema when It came out all back then. I really got into the evolution of Darth Vader in this film. Some stuff felt forced but it was a huge improvement since Attack of the clones. Darth shouting Noooooo at the end was awful i just started slowly laughing. But this film was really good believe it or not. It ties up well with the original films for A New Hope.

The best of the prequels and a fitting conclusion to this part of the saga... easily up there with the original movies. All the main characters have opportunity to shine, with standout performances from Ewan McGregor (Obi-Wan) and Ian McDiamid (Palpatine).

still a favourite

I loved this movie, you know what was coming, you so wanted him tp not be what history showed he would become, his fall was the making of this movie, however it still does not have the dynamic story of Episode V. As they say this is a good movie on its own, i am buying it as i think i need a filler until JJ takes the reins...a good movie.
