Great to have a line-up of highly informed and intelligent presenters holding an all-powerful executive and a Tory Party driven by dangerous ideologues to account.

As informative left-of-centre anti-Brexit discussion presented in an entertaining package, it is a comforting echo chamber in a world that appears to have gone insane. I enjoy it for what it is, but I do have a couple of reservations. The lack of guests from the other side of the Brexit divide is noticeable. Do they not appears so as not to be challenged, or are they simply not invited? Secondly, while the expletive-laden edginess may be enjoyable to me, if I wanted to suggest somewhere for my Brexity parents to go for the other side of the argument, I could not send them here.

When remaining became a sad, distant memory, the team got a new name and kept on podding. Great to have a left of centre intelligent team discussing European and British news.

Wish I’d seen this sooner. I’ve spent so long trying to pretend that Brexit, Trump and Boris didn’t really exist, whereas this podcast would have given me some hope for the future.
Anyway I’m listening back to some that might be relevant, and waiting patiently for the new ones to appear. Thank you

What a shame. Remainiacs has morphed into the Bunker Part 2. Just when we needed to keep the fire alight with briefings and information from an EU perspective we’re going to deluged with Green and Libdem promos - oh, and presumably vegan cooking. Genuinely sad because Remainiacs has been so excellent. Well done for your past efforts. You will be genuinely missed.

I can give a five star review for the content of my favourite podcast but I really don’t like your new name. I really don’t like how it invokes religion, nor do I like how negative it is. It also doesn’t maintain the link with a europhile anti- brexit theme. So, I’ll continue to listen but I’ll wince every time I see your new grating, negative and doom laden name. Get back to that whiteboard and come up with a new positive, progressive, forward looking name. It’s not weakness to admit you were wrong!

All Remainiacs episodes were wonderful! But, oh gawd, what now? It’s almost 400 years since the Cavaliers and the Roundheads. In another 400 years, fingers crossed, they’ll still be talking of Brexiteers (alas) and Remainers. It ain’t going to go away. Pity our wonderful identity-embracing name has to go. By the rivers of the North Country we sat down and wept....

Now unlistenable. Full of giggling Labour types sneering at anyone who disagrees with total shutdown of an economy heading for total ruin while reminiscing fondly about parties with Tony Blair.
If you want a place that tells you that Tony Blair’s regime that invaded Iraq was the best government we’ve ever had and cavorting Union Jack suit wearing Britnat Ian Murray is the answer to Scotland’s problems you’ll love this.

the tone has changed - "people” have forgotten about “all that Brexit stuff” so better not mention it - but someone is needed to put the creeping cancer of corrupt government into context and to quietly but determinedly point to the episodes over the last four years that show how this Suez on Steroids came about; Remainiacs does that with alacrity
the Imperial Project rolls to its tawdry inescapable end, and Remainiacs are here to record it, as a new generation rejects the hubris and will again embrace humanity, decency and a just society

I love listening to old episodes of this podcast. The hubris.
It’s an interesting enough gang of woke folk desperately flailing against reality in a way that makes the Guardian feel gritty and working class. I enjoy it mostly because it’s extremely easy to run counter arguments and rebuttals in your head as you listen.
Half a dozen Londonistas admiring themselves in the mirror of their enormous echo chamber. So very confident of their own wisdom and insight yet by listening to old episodes and comparing them with what actually then happened - so very often wrong.

The Remainiacs team and their weekly podcasts have kept me sane through the past few years of British political turbulence. Each week they provide thoughtful insight and give me a channel for my despair at the situation. The team clearly has a strong rapport and they are well-prepared for each guest they interview. They manage to bring humour, albeit sometimes dark, to this crazy world.

If you ever want to listen to several snobs that hate England, this is the podcast for you. They swear a lot in a weak attempt to hide the fact they are middle class snobs. They hate nationalism unless it’s EU nationalism which is soooo brilliant. I’ll guarantee all have been to Glastonbury.

This is, as the name indicates, a one-sided weekly discussion about Brexit. Regular contributors are Alex Andreou (he is usually the most articulate of the cast); Ingrid Oliver (whose mum is MP Jo Gideon); Ian Dunt (his shtick is to swear a lot) and Naomi Smith (who talks endlessly about opinion polls as if they facts).

You have become a necessity!

I back you on Patreon and so get the early episode and so every Thursday night I listen in on the way home. The Brexit nausea is made a tad more bearable listening in this gem. Dorian’s “Brexit Wicker Man” back last year is still my favourite moment. The time capsule at the end of January had me in tears! Please keep this going! It is a lifeline!

Absolutely love Alex A but now he has left (with typical good grace) the podcast has just got increasingly shrill and bordering on the ridiculous, and it is up to the guests to talk sense to the hosts.
This week the recommendation to fight Brexit was to help people hit by floods. A great suggestion but the connection was tenuous, desperate and once again the remain/virtue conviction just comes across as deluded and alienating.

Thanks

I have been informed and wildly entertained by Remainiacs for years now, for which thanks. But I was really moved this week by your section on what good you’ve taken from this awful period: curiosity rewarded, fellowship, and more. The whole cast are great, but Alex and Ian stopped me in my tracks with this one. A fantastic podcast.

Ian’s in depth knowledge of the reality in Scotland helps explain why his party is currently polling in 3rd place here.
Cherry picking his data to prop up his false narrative, doesn’t impress.

This podcast is what I hang on for all week. It really is an oasis of sanity in a world gone mad.
The presenters are so well informed it hurts. They may not always agree but they put their opinions forward clearly & with humour.
They are hilarious, serious & the best thing about the Brexit referendum. The ONLY good thing about the Brexit referendum TBH.
The show is about an hour long but always whizzes by so quickly. I always listen to it 3 times over.
Perhaps they could do a twice weekly podcast...? Just a thought.
😊

Arrogant, middle class airheads swearing and abusing folk they deem to be beneath them. In this fantasy world anyone who voted Leave is stupid, racist and fascist. They are oblivious to the way people think in the real world. As a self-parody it’s amusing. But after a few listens the dark, nasty side of this agenda is all too disturbing. Thank goodness they lost.

This show is a godsend and I’m glad it will continue after Remain’s catastrophic defeat in December 2019.
Don’t want to BBC bash but the problem with balance is that it’s not informative. This show is obviously open in its bias but opinions expressed are reasonable and based on evidence. It’s way more informative than Brexitcast - and much funnier!
Will be a useful podcast for those interested in pro-European social-democrat movements over the next 5 years.
One piece of feedback though: it feels very much like a Remain bubble show. It would be good to see the presenters show some more nuanced understanding and engagement with leave voters outside M25.

I am writing this review the weekend after the 2019 election and the Conservative party gaining an 80+ seat majority.
Remain is now finished as a project. Brexit will happen and the question is where do we go from here?
The latest episode of the podcast was realistic but uplifting and it is full credit to the whole Remainiacs team that I retain some optimism about our future in the EU. Yes, it may take longer, yes, we now have a right wing populist government with almost all powers and very little to hold them accountable. But, as Ian Dunt has noted, we have the truth, and the young and now a majority of the population behind us.
The podcast is not going anywhere and neither am I.
I want to to thank everyone involved in the podcast and the community for the inspiration and hope you have provided.
Thank You

Obviously it’s heavily bias but it’s entertaining, funny and thought provoking. Very focused on the impact Brexit will have on the presenters and target audience, a recent guest complained he feared he might not be able to see live opera anymore, we feel your pain brother!
usually ignores what could actually be done to change the country, make the disenchanted feel seen, heard, respected, invested in the future of the UK, in or out. however if you want the inside track on the terror Brexit has caused inside the minds of the Bourgeoisie this is a must.
Great podcast.
