One of the world's top food critics lunches big names in a restaurant of his choosing. Crackling anecdotes and blistering chat, lubricated by killer cooking. A Somethin’ Else / Jay Rayner production.

Tucci charming. Locatelli menu great and interesting for anecdotes. Grant too on perfume (whilst eating truffle). A delight. To look forward to.

Love Jay’s written food reviews, love him on Masterchef and now this! The main chat obviously centres around food but through their food choices or stories, it also allows you to learn a lot about each interviewee too.

I’ve listened to two episodes so far, with Richard E Grant and Mel C, and loved them. The interviews are incisive, fun and unearth fascinating details about their subjects, while also showcasing some rather lovely restaurants and food (I’m compiling a list of ones I want to visit already). Listening to this podcast is a real delight, and I will be recommending it to all my friends.

Really enjoyed this podcast with Jay, have been listening to him for years on Saturday kitchen table...thoroughly looking forward to further podcasts and even though there are little advertisements, it’s much more of a thorough interview than you get with television or radio...well done..xx

I have always loved listening to passionate people talk about a subject they know inside and out. This show is just that, in a chocolate covered, truffled infused nutshell. Jay is a master at switching between the guest’s specialized subject, their personal lives and the food being served and it creates an intimate fly on the wall lunch date. Can’t wait to hear more!

Enjoyed the podcast hugely. Loved the little insights that Jay tucked in ( pun intended 🙈) - Christmas puds made in 1 factory- who knew! Look forward to getting more of those and listening to people’s relationship with food.

Start your weekend with this

Jay shows a true talent for bringing out the best in Richard E Grant and with combination of charm, guile and quick thinking manages to relax Richard and allow him to shine whilst probing and posing questions that Richard clearly hadn’t been asked before. Uplifting, funny, insightful and a great start to this series and to the weekend Thanks Jay and REG

How could this not be fabulous. It is presented by Jay Rayner. Also Richard E Grant. Frankly Jay could speak to a cardboard box and I would find it amazing

Entertaining as interviewer and interviewee don’t seem to take themselves that serious BUT be prepared to listen to hear the folks eating, chewing and drinking...if this is your thing, great! If it isn’t, brace yourself.

Completely compelling

No idea who Jay ... ? Is, but its school break, I’m a Londoner living in Cape Town with two little girls who are both annoyed I’m not listening to them whilst I listen to Richard E Grant and cook during a power cut! Must subscribe, plus look up Jay thingy? on internet once power restored. Louisa

So very satisfying...

...when something is as juicy as you hope it’s going to be. I knew this was an ace idea for a podcast as soon as I saw it and the combo of Jay Rayner and Richard E Grant did not disappoint. I walked my dog around a bleak, cold park with this playing on my headphones and it cheered me along immeasurably.
