The Interstellar is my one of most favourite movie list. This move is a very very height quality in many aspects: strong scientific background, solid and inspiring content to imagine our future world, exciting adventure scenes, CG of the space is generated realistically by astrophysics theories, and lastly this long movie will never bore you.
Don't hesitate, this movie it worth to buy and save in you collection. You must want to watch it again and again.

In this film, Relativity Theory and physics are for marketing purpose, I believe. It expresses a view on meanings of life. Also, there are sacrifice, love without boundary, cheating, selfish… some of the goodness and badness of human beings.
It is a great film with a great story and some great meanings. However, I still love “The Matrix” the most on the same aspect.
p.s. I could not playback this film on my “keyboard-less” Mac mini linking to a TV in my living room. I controlled the Mac mini from another Mac via OS X built-in VNC but I was told my monitor did not support HDCP. I finally realized that the film can be playback without any active VNC connection; or in short, I must directly control the Mac mini. Besides, the voice option “English Voice (AC3)” (the exact name is forgotten) was dimmed and I only played it in stereo.

Given the amount of ideas packed into it, repeated viewing is a must. I have seen it twice and am now convinced it is among the greatest movies of all time.
