I have made hotel bookings amount was deducted,But no booking confirmation when I called ask the customer service , it asking for press 1 for English but person who taking the phone talking in Hindi even I told multiple times I don’t understand Hindi they are still talking in Hindi , then I don’t understand what is the reason for me to choose the English
After answered they hold the call for 10 mints and end the call without update , after I fed up I ask them to connect to service help desk that person not even answered waited on call for 20 minutes
Please help me for my refund

They will confirm the booking at app. Even when i prepaid, my booking was cancelled by hotel owner and they were fully occupied. Even customer care couldn’t arrange nearby hotels registered in oyo. When we went to the same nearby hotel, we got the room of course at higher price. Oyo lowers the rate so that you can book from the site but no booking is accepted at hotel due to low rates.

I have always faced issues with hotels.
Owner denying check in due to prices paid.
Oyo and their rooms are not in sync with prices. Dont why they are in business together. When i raise issues, customer care is of no help. I am on the waiting line on customer care while typing this review. Nobody responding. Even after booking its impossible to call hotel for confirmation. They dont pick up calls either.

With in an hour after paying 1500 i left the room and when i tried to call oyo customer no one is picking up the call only waiting machine is answering for almost half ab hour. After entering the room i called hotel receptionist to change the room as its smelly and ac was not working but he didnt listen to me at all and asking me to talk to oyo customer support. I told him to deducted some of the amount for an hour but he said no right away and oyo customer care is not responding at 9:00 pm i have to leave the room as it was really very bad experience. Will never choose oyo this oyo town house 032 is near galleria market gurgaon. I am at loss of rs. 1500 dont worry people u will also bear the loss soon.

I guess now oyo is running short in money thats why they are using customers money for their satisfaction. No hotels have memberships with oyo now. If you confirm the booking from here they will take the momey and you just need to follow up for months and momths for your own money. As till now i have not received my any kindoff refund and today while i made my next booking to adjust my money again they took my 25% of amount and did not adjust anywhere.
All the executives cut the call within 5 mins. Illiterate executives are being hired by oyo. Don’t believe on this app now. They are running very short in money.

I recently face a worst experience of my life with OYO. I am a regular customer of OYO. For the last time i made a booking with the OYO mobile web. When I reach the hotel(it is basically OYO townhouse which is one of the premium service providers of the OYO as per their add) they charge me twice of amount showing in the app. On asking they told me booking amount shown by app is not applicable there. Because I stuck and didn’t have any options so I paid the money. Since that day I am trying to contact the customer care personnel of the OYO but unable to connect with them. If possible help me out otherwise I never do or suggest anyone to book rooms with OYO.

I booked a room in oyo room.I paid the amount which was shown in app after applied coupons and all. When I reached the hotel.the owner told to cancel the room and book the room according to his rate. He did accepted my payment what I paid through app. He told to contact OYO there no chat service no costumer care number . I don’t know why oyo is running still with this kind of partners. Why can’t you explain the terms and conditions to your OYO partners about the coupons you giving and all . Why OYO doesn’t have costumer care number and chat . I don’t recommend oyo for room booking. Many OYO rooms are doing scams be careful don’t pay in oyo app for any cost.

I booked a room in banglore for three days that cost me 1200bucks and when i reached the hotel the receptionist asked me to pay 1200 extra and then i payed it too . Later that day i tried to contact oyo customer care and they made me stay online for more than 45mins . They said that they were gonna transfer the call to service assistance and nobody attended me . And at the end of the day someone picked up the call and they told me that am not eligible for the refund as there is a policy which states that any extra funds collected directly from the property will not be refunded. And they told me that I should’ve called the agent at the time i payed extra for the hotel but noone mentioned about calling the agent in the policy if any issue take place.
Am tryna move things directly through The consumer court.

Nowadays it seems like oyo loose control over there partnered hotels. Even if you get offer and paid earlier, at time of check in you have to go through tons of questions like how much you have paid , you should come directly not via oyo etc etc. And if the offer price is below 1000-800 , you have to pay extra , the excuse came like at this price we can’t provide AC room sir and tons of other excuses . Literally last time i have to indulge in bargaining for getting my pre paid room.
And one more thing , at the time of check out they literally ordered us and make sure we give 5 star in front of them. I think this rating option should come after at-least 4,5 hours after check out or we can change it later, or else we can’t avoid to give rating influenced by them .
Hope you will improve and again gain control over your hotels as you have earlier.

I booked Royal palms in Mumbai. I had first booked it from Goibibo at 6800/- then for confirming my booking I called hotel and they said that you can book from Oyo we will only charge 4700/- so I canceled Goibibo booking and confirmed booking of 4700/- with oyo and paid the booking advance of 450/-. I was travelling from Bangalore And When I reached hotel they said that there is problem in my booking and they told that their per day price is 1800 and what oyo is paying them is only 1100. Why should I care I thought. Then they asked me to talk with oyo and ask them to pay the remaining to the hotel then only I can get confirmation on my booking otherwise they will not allow to check in.
Please delete this app from your phones. No hotel property respect oyo and we have to suffer at last.

Five stars for Gunjan Goyal for helping me out with my booking problem. 3 stars for oyo rooms because of the poor quality rooms most of the time. I had an issue where I was checked out on its own and had to pay extra to the hotel to stay there. Gunjan from oyo helped me receive a refund of the original payment. Booked a room in noida. Arrived late from flight and it was already 11 PM at night. I was dead tired. When I reached hotel the staff said that you should pay extra amount because the room which was allotted to you is given to someone else. I said I had advance booking and it was prepaid then how come you can a lot room to someone else and owner on phone started saying rubbishy things about both OYO and me. At night around 11:30 PM I opened Cleartrip app booked a decent hotel and stayed my night at a peaceful place.
This was my first and last booking from OYO.
One word - cheap hotels, cheap hotel partners and cheap places with no electricity backup and full of mosquitoes.
Not recommended.

Don't book any hotel from oyo. Their hospitality and customer care service are one of the worst customer care i have found. They booked a hotel for me & continuously shifting the hotels one after another this is one issue. Now the main issue was that i have to reach the hotel by 11PM but due to train delay I was reached the alloted hotel at 1 AM and the alloted hotel was closed and wait for the hotel admistrative person for 1/2 an hour. Then call to oyo customer care they shift to another hotel with some extra charge and i was paid full amount. When i was went to that shifted hotel, they dont allow me to check in and the time was 1.45 AM. After that i was claimed for full refund from the oyo but they provide me half the amount and remaining amount was charged for cancellation. Why should i gave them cancellation charge as i was not checked in the hotel. Plzzz guys don't go for oyo service. They are one of the worst service I had found...

Have come across multiple hotels who denied check in with booking from OYO as the prices listed on OYO for those hotels is very low beyond their regular price. So once you reach the hotel, they demand for extra money from you to check you in. If you don’t pay that and wish to call up OYO, OYO would transfer your booking to a nearby some worst class service apartment. This seems like an evil plan devised by OYO to lure customers, make them book in advance and then deny booking by their hotel partners and move the customers to some low grade hotel in that case. If the customers pay extra money, it’s a win situation to hotel and if customers don’t pay, OYO still makes something out of it through cancellation charges or some charging you the same amount for some low grade service apartment. Has become such a common practice with OYO partnered hotels in Bangalore

Oyo has been the worst room booking experience for me. an online booking was done through the IVR call with one of an executive where to get an extra discount on the room booking an online payment was been asked to be done which was been fulfilled through PhonePe. At the time of check in at the hotel room the manager denied stating that the price allotted by the OYO does not come under the criteria of the hotel rent policy. At the same time I contacted the customer support to get the help but they said that the refund has to be processed for this which will take 15 days of time. now it has been 25 days since the incident and the refund is not done yet. I have been contacting the customer support for multiple times for the same issue to be discussed and the refund to be get done. The customer support executive keeps on saying that they cannot help me in this situation as this number only belongs for the new bookings but when we go on the application chat support there is no help been provided and also the IVR does not work or there is no relevant option for the refund to be checked. this is very frustrating and very bad impression been put on by the Oyo staff. totally worst and a bad experience
Check the title where the booking ID is mentioned yet you ask for the Id again in the previous reply.

Oyo is worst in service! Firstly their agent fooled me by giving an offer on a call with lesser price for hotel and they made me pay partial money! After that app kept showing me higher amount pending! I insisted the agent about this and he kept putting my call on hold! Thereafter call disconnected, then i called back and another agent picked up! I told him about the problem then he told me sir you need to pay some amount right now so that you get the offer for the booked property! So i again paid some amount and after sometime the call got disconnected again! When I checked the app he booked a third hotel for my paid money without even my consent! I myself cancelled that third booking!
Now scene changes! I thought leave all these i will pay more but i need the hotel since it was 2 am and i was with my family! I reached the booked hotel, the manager denied check in saying he doesn’t have an empty room! Talk to oyo customer and plz leave the property! He told the oyo policy says ‘first come first serve’. I was left alone in midnight just because of this pathetic service called oyo! Never recommending to anyone!

I have booked a hotel for 649/- in kolkata. When I reached the hotel they had given my room to someone else. When contacted the customer care regarding this they said to cancel my room and book a new one nearby. When they cant assure the room then whats the point of booking a room in OYO? Then later when I was moving away from the hotel manager called me and said he would give me room if I pay atleast 1500. Additionally he said I can’t just give my luxury room for 649/-. He was right from his point of view. Below are my questions- 1) Why did OYO registered this hotel when they are not allowing customers who paid for the amount it showed in app? 2) Customer support told me there are no rooms available and asked me to shift to other hotel. How did they provide me room when I pay 1500/- ? 3) Being new to city when asked the solution to customer support, how can customer support team tell me to book a new hotel and move on eventhough I booked room 3 days ago? 4) Additionally they accepted the booking which I made in oyo and took extra 900/- from me. I am very sad to write this review since I felt ashamed and clueless after yesterdays situation which actually made me write this review. I was with my family on a long vacation and was desperately in need of a hotel room to rest ourselves . Then the first application that came to my mind was OYO. Without any second thought I booked a hotel and paid for the hotel. I reached the hotel and then the hotel management did not allow me to check in. They had a lot of complaints about OYO on the failed financial commitments by OYO on previous occasions and hotel management bashed about OYO for all the things that happened and the management outrightly said that they will not allow customers if they pay online through the application. Further hotel management said that OYO had to settle a large amount. Then had a bad argument with the hotel management and was literally thrown out the hotel. We were literally waiting outside a hotel with heaps of luggage and felt hopeless in that situation.
It is a sincere request to take strict action against the hotel the please make sure this situation does not happen to any other customer. I am also sharing my booking ID (YO7T1078) for your further course of action. Expecting a quick response. Thanks

Doesnt worth giving even a single star.
I booked hotel via this application. I got stood up for an entire night in coimbatore city. Trusting oyo i reached the hotel. Hotel authorities said no rooms available for the night. They also said they have informed oyo. Still they took the booking. I saw two other families in the reception having similar trouble after doing the payment. I tried calling the customer support. Trust me, “THE WORST CUSTOMER CARE EVER”. They just hung up the phone after listening to our side. They booked me three other hotels in 2 hours. Hoping to get a room in next hotel i trusted oyo once again and wasted my time and money. Every hotel they booked for me was either sold out or not accepting oyo booking. Customer care guys dont even care about the customers. Just passing their time.
This is the first time something like this happened to me. Never ever again with oyo.
Still am surprised to see the app rating in app store.

I booked two Deluxe rooms in Townhouse 850 Nungambakkam, Chennai for 21st to 22nd May for 4 adults and 2 kids, for which I got a mail and text message confirmation as well. But when I tried to check in, the hotel receptionist said that I have booked two rooms only for 2 guests. They demanded extra charge for 2 more adults and we have to pay the extra charge to check in. I have all the proof for 4adults and 2 kids for which I booked. When I contacted the customer care they asked the booking ID and asked me to wait on the call and there is no response for 25 minutes and I have to disconnect my call. And the worst part is the rooms doesn’t look like what I saw in the picture, it is very unhygienic, AC not working and rooms has full of dust. Finally while checkout the receptionist tried to take my mobile and do the rating himself but I denied to give my mobile. They do the same with all customers. After this experience I cancelled the other two rooms which i booked OYO for the next 4 days.
Please don’t believe OYO rooms they are crap.

Its so much better to do a google search and search for hotels directly instead of booking through oyo and the reason I am saying is because recently i went to gangtok and booked a room through oyo and i had paid in advance. When I reached there hotel denied me checkin saying “the rooms are full, you should have booked directly with us”. I tried to reach out oyo customer care service they put my call on a long hold which was cut down eventually by them. I reach out to oyo captain and he said sir rooms are full in this hotel please find a different hotel and he dropped the call. And btw all this is happening at 11 clock in the night in an unknown city with no vehicle of my own. It was horrible experience that there are no words to explain. Next day i call customer care for a full refund and guess what !! Their policy is that they can only refund 50% and that too in oyo money so that you have to book from them again. After so much heated discussions when i cut the call i am seeing that the refund i get is 15% of the total amount that i had paid. When i call them again they just keep putting my call on hold and cutting the call eventually. Trust me I called more than 20 times in the same day and never had such horrific experience from any customer care till now.

So i basically used oyo for the first time just yesterday to book a room for my mom and brother at pune. We stay mumbai. I booked it by around 11 pm on 13th may 2022, and by 12 /12:30 am i got a text message saying that my booking need to be shifted to some other hotel. I was like blank for few seconds and i tried connecting to their customer care, hotel people also. There was no such way to connect to them. I tried alot and then in morning again i was searching some other hotel and same thing happened. I made a payment by 9 am and amount gets debited and then hotel claims they dont have room. In all my 2k amount got debited in such mess. And then ever since i am trying to get my refund back, i tried chatting to their agents, who are like of no use. Since 2 hrs i am on chat window where different people comes and give that automated message and that crap line that i am glad to assist you and then they disappear. Its so horrible. Hotel people tells that cancel the booking where after cancelling it shows cancellation charges. I m like what is this?! In 5 min i cancelled and they claim cancellation charges! In al its just pathetic. I dont know if i will get my refund back of almost 1700 to be precise. Never going to use this henceforth !!

Just 2 days ago i booked oyo in Mumbai i was comming from delhi when i reached hotel with my sister and luggage hotel manager denied for checkin they do not have any extra room, then i thought it was ok i went for different hotel i booked again and again they denied they i called oyo customer care many times for hours they made me stand in the middle of road it was very sunny and i was running of anger oyo customer care said they will shift my hotel and difference amount of new hotel will be bearable by oyo, but oyo customer care themself cancelled my booking now if i book hotel amount was hiked and i have to pay all amount latter i called oyo customer care they continuously put my call on hold and hanged my call, finally i talked in evening she tried to helped me out i just asked for the difference amount back that i paid after booking she also denied for the difference amount this is very shameful for oyo and this is how oyo treat their Guest i cannot explain much while writing that i suffered and experienced with oyo i simply have no complains now i deleted app

Oyo used to be good at customer service but now does not even deserve 1 star. Not able to contact call support number. When calling in number it is either on hold or cut down the call before picking. No real support through the app also. Oyo was just like a bubble. Now it is blown away.
in Last booking complementory breakfast was mentioned but hotel staff said this is not available. It is from oyo side and mentioned wrongly. I mean what the hell. Even the room size was small as shown in pictures.
One more - someone from second hotel staff called me a day after and abusing me stating i have broken down their tv. when i checked out their receptionist checked the room and only then we left. I mean if it would have been broken by customer, he would not let us leave without paying.
You seruously need to rething about the business modal. There is more negativity about oyo now. Have already uninstalled the app and not going to use again.

But the receptionist from the property Denied to give us room. It was a mid night and OYO customer care makes me wait on the customer care call for 1 hour by frequent calls. They’re only replacing hotel rooms which were under the price money on which I already booked my room and the rooms they were offering me was without required facilities. They are so cheap, only because to save there money they let me wait with my wife at midnight on the street and then offering me rooms in weird and nasty places and cheap hotels even they give me choice to choose a hotel near me but they denied every hotel. There were 2000 properties in that city but oyo was only offering cheap hotels without any facilities and profitable to them. I was so disappointed, my wife was sick due to travel and OYO was thinking only about there profit even they are not able to give me hotel on the price I booked for. Shame on you guys.

On 1st October, 2021, had been to Dharwad for an important business meet. I had booked my room with check in date 30th & check out 1st thru GOIBIBO app & the details are also shared below. As I went for check in at 7am on 1st as my stay would last just for 3 hrs, the receptionist MR. Shubhankar handed over another voucher with OYO ID (same has also been shared below) stating for an additional payment of Rs. 989. I contacted GOIBIBO, didn’t get any response, then I contacted OYO as why am I getting a voucher of their company when I had booked thru GOIBIBO and they replied rudely saying that I need to contact GOIBIBO as the payment was made to them. I spoke to GOIBIBO again and this time they said they had raised a complaint and would take some time to sort it out 😳. Really very furious. How could this happen….who is to be blamed. It’s something like paying more & keep following them for the refund….don’t we have any other work to do.

I had booked one room and hotel denied checkin due to their reasons … when I called to either modify or refund money , one support lady informed me that money cannot be returned but modification is possible and asked to call to customer care … when I called after spending 15 mins with 3 different agents so keep switching call , their manager arrived and speaks in a very rude and unprofessional manner saying money won’t be refunded as well booking will not be modified .. when I informed him that their support only told me about modification could be made he told me that “ if lady told you go and ask her , I will not make the modification “ … it’s very pathetic that OYO have such unprofessional people as their support leads who treats their customers unethically…. I just wished I never booked room through OYO and never called the support… they just took money for the service they did not provide and then behaved in such a bad manner …. I got to pune and at first the room which i booked the property manager denied the booking and no information was shared with me during booking or even after booking the. Though the oyo manages the other room to next property which was 2 km away from the first one and denied any further assistance and the second property which they booked was even worst as firstly their was a very bad smell in the room and the curtain mattress and walls were not even clean, when i informed oyo about the situation then best off luck with that as after try reaching then for 2 hrs but still either they had some technical issues or they were not picking and finally when they picked they rejected and said sorry we cannot shift or refund the amount back to you. So please 1. Try not using their service 2. Do not give the booking amount upfront, check the rooms and their services first. 3. If they they allot any other oyo try to have glance of their rooms first. Due to them I missed and important meeting and also had a troublesome night. Very bad experience.

Guys please never pay online to this app . They have made their police to do cancellation before 9am. It means if person has booked hotel and paid online and by any chance if cancellation is done for example property denied checking so in that case oyo will not refund back money. Same scam they have done twice with me they have a tie up with property they deny checkin at property and aske to cancel and once cancellation done by customer all your money now gone to oyo without any good and services. Guys please report this this. And customer support also poor they never response for this issue. They have looted approx 3800 rupees in 2 times. Its so radiculous. If oyo seeing my message please do refund my 1200 rupees that was looted by you all on my last booking with booking iD UJOJ3199. I wont leave this issue unsolved . I have booked room from oyo app in the night n paid the amount but when i went to the hotel they said the property is sold from afternoon n they also informed the oyo to change the status of property on oyo app but oyo didn’t changed not just me but there were some other people also who has faced the same issue. When i called customer support for refund they refused to give refund n said it’s not our policy to refund if you didn’t canceled before 9am so i asked that i booked hotel in night then why they took the booking in night n accepts payment at same time.
The customer support misbehaved very badly said that it’s my fault that I didn’t booked hotel on time. But the problem is that if the property is already sold why didn’t they changed it on the app. So it’s clear that they are just doing frauds with customers n taking money from them.
N when they ask for refund they just show there fake n useless policies to give excuse.
Please guys never use oyo.

I booked an oyo in noida sector 26 named cozy stayz for ₹499 after reaching the hotel the manager asked me for covid report by saying that oyo has made it compulsory but i asked one more customer standing there...but he denied...that person said give me more money and i will let u stay without the covid reports...i refused then he rang his phone to his friend and said that i ll have to pay ₹799 for other hotel and if i ll stay in his hotel without the covid reports then the police will arrest me...i have been vaccinated with two dose...then i booked one more hotel in sector 71 ...for ₹399 the owner denied my booking over there for 399 and asked for 700...i had no option but to give the money as he was threatening me and after that he was forcing me to give 5 star rating...oyo is a fraud dont ever fall for it...ur money,time,respect,privacy may be in serious trouble...worst experience ever seriously i want my money back from that gangster manager

I have been using Oyo for quite sometime. I have even used their services to travel abroad and at that time I was pretty much satisfied always with service and care provided. But this one experience I had to go through this week has changed my opinion. I had specifically booked an AC room for my stay in mysore . And from all the offers I got a good and a cheap deal. After arriving at the hotel, the staff was rude and gave us a non-AC room. And the room was nothing like it was depicted in the pictures. The bathroom was small. The sheets were rough and when I took a small nap I woke up scratching my face immediately. Which I assume is either because of bed bugs or dust in the room as it looked pretty dingy in the first place. And I’m severely allergic to dust. Upon complaining to the staff, they ridiculed us in paying a higher price for an AC room and also said that at the price paid this is the only room I could afford. I immediately contacted the customer support complaining about the issue, but the first guy just left me on hold and cut the call and the second guy nothing to say except that ‘ he’s very sorry for the inconvenience caused’ rather than coming up with a solution, he just went on repeating those lines again and again. And to mention even he kept me on hold for quite sometime. I immediately vacated my room because of all the trouble and at the same time had to cut short my trip.

This is a cheat company and they always insist you make the payment upfront by offering you some petty discounts. Once you do so and go to the hotel to check in the hotel will dishonour the booking by showing you some foul internal policies. The hotels do not care about OYO’s check in policy and you can’t do anything about it. I did not even get refund for a booking after being denied entry by the hotel as I stay within 5 kms but OYO’s check in policy says otherwise. If you raise the concern to OYO they will ‘validate your concern’ with the hotel and won’t show any trust on what has happened to you, instead they will go by what the hotel managers say(most of whom are very rude and talk like hooligans). Moreover most of the support agents terminate support chat sessions as soon as they find out they can’t help you. Their phone line is also not reachable most of the times in a day. In short never even book hotels with OYO rooms, their objective is to loot money from you.

visited the hotel on counter the receptionist asked me to pay the amount, so I paid before and than when he showed me the room it was completely different what he have shown in the pictures, there was smell all out the room. When I denied to stay he said we can't cancel this booking and started arguing and denied to refund my amount. He made a fraud with me and as he was being offensive so i leaved from their, when i tried to contact oyo the agent she wasn't replying so I booked hotel from local. And when I contacted at night the oyo agent refunded me 10%. So I paid 90% just to visit hotel. Rather than this that receptionist took 50rs for document xerox stating that the xerox centre isn't nearby so we require rest amount for petrol. This was a good app company, they screwed me over last night two failed transactions but money got deducted and finally the third one succeeded, but on reaching the hotel no one picks up the call the and hotel is closed, so I cancel my last booking and they deduct 880 from my account, after two hours I see two more booking to the same hotel so totally 3 booking to the same place. And two of them automatically cancelled in total my cancellation fees are 2113 , 2113 and 880
Now their help chat is total crap you will loose the session if you move out. I am going to consumer court for this
More issues found with your app the chat updates the timestamp on all the conversation line items so we loose reference to how long it took to resolve the issue (I have recorded it for reference )
For the first two transactions they are saying the total amount is duducted as cancellation fee

This was our worst experience with oyo. Staff is terrific I couldn’t imagine someone could be this rude with their customers. I will never ever recommend this hotel. They allotted us a room which was in a worst condition something was coming out from ground and stinking very bad, mosquitoes and flies in the room. Then i asked we cannot stay here in this room, they then gave us a room and said we dont have any other room you need to adjust. I mean they have posted some different pictures but in actual they are something different. That room had cockroaches when asked for the spray they said we dont have. Bathroom was soo horrible, bedsheets had stains ,furniture were not clean, kitchen had 4-5 big rats and was stinking horrible, corridor was not clean , mid night there was no water supply, no water for drinking, did not provide breakfast. I was terrified looking at the condition of the hotel. Please look at the attached images. I wish i had option of giving negative star to this hotel

I booked room which id is BPFG1290 they just told me first to pay in cash as they clearly told rudely that oyo will give us money after 30 days so if you want room pay us in cash only and that too 1600 rs but the room price was only 1399 they told because if lockdown demand is high orelse cancel the booking i was helpless they just forced me to pay in cash i roam everywhere to find ATM and they even charged 200 rs extra for just anything they only dont know i was not provided water bottle the guy who took me to room demanded 100 rs as tip and for 2 ltr water bottle asked 60rs and he gave 1 liters 2 bottle which i just used one and left one bottle there only over all the experience was worst and i am never goona use oyo again i will use other applications for booking but no oyo again oyo is good but the hotel staffs are very bad they just want money they say they dont have change and they take all money specially in case of couples they wantedly say in front of girl that they dont have change and we cant even argue with silly things worst experience only money money money not even 1% satisfied

since three days it’s the worst booking app I am ever facing ! Just check out my registered bookings , I didn’t even approach for cancellation of room! Simply it’s getting cancelled ! Without any reason ! And two bookings I pre paid for room, still cancelled. And after cancellation charge are applied ! What the hell is this , I am very angry and unsatisfied about this issue! Rating app zero and just if business is not good close the OYO everywhere don’t trouble the customers and don’t play! If we book a room it’s confirmed actually and in what’s app we get a confirmation message we confirm there, right after that a call comes up for confirmation, we may be busy at that time ! If we don’t pick up call without any intimation, simply they are cancelling rooms, and giving a message as ROOM CANCELLED AS PER YOUR REQUEST! What the hell is that message did I tell to cancel the room ! Worst app and worst experience ever! If it’s for my booking I would have left but it’s for my father who is about 59 years old and you OYO app people are troubling him on roads! For roaming ! Rating app zero

Be cautious while booking. Your booking may get cancelled before check in although if you book in advance with payment. I made a booking at town house 091, Check in was from 12pm, got a call from oyo and confirmed the booking. I said my checkin time would be 09pm. At 08:15pm. I got a message stating that my accommodation was changed to another property oyo Capital O, called customer care service they said as the prior property is overbooked so I can’t check in . I reached capital O , surprisingly property got closed, went back to town house 091. Asked the manger he said room available but it will be expensive. I called customer care, he said cancel the booking and rebook, by the time they confirm the booking another guy booked directly. They made a booking to another property town house 026 for higher price as only one room left . I reached there., they informed that rooms are not available and available for corporate booking . Called customer care they asked to move to other property. If demand is high to get more money they will cancel your booking before checkin, so that you need to pay more to them. Worse customer care service. My sincere advise is don’t opt oyo

Hotels don’t honour OYO booking

I booked 2 room in hotel capital O sugar palms of Gwalior when I tried to checkin at night with my whole family and 7 month old kid , person at reception namely Mr Gurjar didn’t allow us to check in by saying all rooms are occupied . I asked to see guest register he didn’t show me the register . He was discourteous and dis respectful . I called oyo customer service twice they put me on hold for 15 -20 minutes each time and then call was disconnected . We searched for another room and got it at 4 am. At 7 am another girl from oyo called to get feedback about stay , I told her what happened she gave me false assurance and hung up the call . I am sure no action is taken. I got link for my feedback on whats app on that link there was option which read did not stay at hotel , I selected that option . Now in oyo app there is no record of my booking of sugar palms hotel . I cannot rate the hotel on app. I am sure no action is taken against Mr Gurjar and two customer care executives I talked to. Hotel is yet good rated on oyo app . Don’t have time and energy to file case against hotel and oyo in consumer forum. If oyo is really committed towards customer satisfaction and service it should take action against above mentioned persons and let me know. I am giving one star to oyo because its minimum rating I could give they don’t even deserve that for the hell of the experience I have been through.

Guys I had a worst nightmare with Oyo services, let me share my experience. We had booked 9 rooms in one of the Oyo authenticated hotel in Mysore (Hotel name: Breeze Inn
Address: 51, Vijay Nagar 3rd Stage, Vijayanagar, Mysore) and we got the booking id by paying the advance for 9 rooms which was done 20 days back prior to the check in date . When we reached the Oyo hotel as per the schedule date there was a big surprise waiting for us and the surprise is that hotel has stopped running there services from one month back itself but still these Oyo management were not aware of that and that hotel list is still visible on there website and by doing this Oyo is misleading & misguiding the customers and this is totally not acceptable so guys going forward don’t fall to this Oyo trap which will lead us in to the trouble. Now I don’t know how much time these guys will take to refund my booking amount which is again a waste of time talking to these unethical ppl. So guys Please think thrice before booking Oyo.

Recently i booked a hotel in delhi for a week , i also got a call regarding confirmation of check in and i told them about the time of check in. When i landed in delhi and checked the hotel address found out that my booking has been cancelled without any reason. I thought may be some confusion so i booked again the same hotel and then again got a confirmation call regarding checkin time. I informed them about the earlier booking and they assured me of confirmation. When i was in the cab on the way to hotel, i received a call from the hotel informing me non availability of the room. I asked them why then my booking was confirmed they told me to talk to oyo customer care. And it was all happening in the cab on my way to the hotel. Then i called the customer care after few minutes they put my call on hold and didn’t get back to me. I was frustrated. Then again i called the customer care and the guy from that side was rude, he told me it is not their responsibility to provide me the same hotel. He again put my call on hold and didn’t get back to me. It was worst experience and it was in the midnight. Somehow i booked another hotel and stayed there for the week.

I booked a hotel in Kolkata, and the address of the hotel i booked sent to me was wrong. My flight landed at 7pm and i took a taxi according to the address sent to me by oyo. Around half way i wanted to inform my hotel people that i will reach within few minutes i got to know that the hotel booked was not in the address provided by oyo. I was on the opposite direction of my booked hotel. By this time it was almost 10pm I was a single female travelling in an unknown city. How can oyo be this careless.
And recent i booked a hotel to attend my friend’s marriage. On reaching Jaipur I called up this oyo customer care people to confirm my booking, they said the booking is confirmed. On reaching the location i couldn’t find the hotel. So called up customer care people so that i can talk to the hotel people. That time also the oyo customer care confirmed that my booking is confirmed with the hotel. And when i spoke to the hotel people, I got to know that they have stopped giving service for the past 1year. It was 7pm in the evening. And when I spoke to the Oyo customer care people to tell how can they say the hotel booking is confirmed in a hotel that is closed for the past 1year. The customer care people were so rude and irresponsible and did not take up the responsibility. Very disappointed. PLEASE BE CAREFUL BEFORE BOOKING OYO ROOMS AND HOTELS...

Now a days oyo is listing in one of top fraud apps its fooling customers by taking money while booking but once we reach the hotel they are not allowing check-in with different reasons those they didn’t even address while booking and here the customer care agents(very pathetic service) will come into picture they won’t even listen whats the issue and at first they will speak in English but once we started addressing issue then they will switch their language to hindi and the worst thing is like they will put us on holds and don’t think they will refund your money in my case its almost happened 6 times better you guys choose some other platforms which are showing original price from both hotel management and admin side so we won’t get this kind of pathetic service because oyo is cheating us buy showing less price in app what in reality the hotel managers are not allowing us with what we paid through app.

Very poor customer care
I wanted to extend the stay at a particular oyo i had been staying for 4 days. I booked a room for Rs 900. I tried to pay at the front desk, they advised me to pay online. When i tried to make payment online, my account was debited for Rs 900 but the transaction was not completed (i have the bank’s message for proof). I tried to pay again and the amount has been changed to rs1037. I contacted customer care and now they are arguing that the booking amount was initially rs 1037. At the hotel also booking amount has been changed to 1037(when i tried to pay in cash earlier, front desk had confirmed the booking amount of rs900). The customer care lady is arguing that the booking amount was always rs 1037 and that i can cancel the booking if i do not wish to pay the amount. Is this how u handle a complaint? Changing the booking amount after booking is not acceptable ! I could have chosen a better hotel for that price
PS why stop at rs1037 ? Increase more and make more profit !!!!

Most hotels in north India have stopped collaborating with oyo (oyo doesn’t deserve a capital ‘o’), but still they are listed on the application.
As a result when a person books such a hotel through oyo, she gets a call and message from oyo stating that her booking is confirmed and the hotel is waiting to host her, which are the precise words used in the messages, and as the person reaches the property, the hotel manager says that oyo has been cheating the property for over a year now, and they don’t accept oyo bookings anymore.
So what does the guest do, calls oyo, waits on the call for 30 minutes to talk to the oyo operator and conveyes the details of the incident. The oyo operator being so kind, books a nearby property for the guest and tells her that bla bla property 30 minutes walk away from the guest’s current location is booked and waiting to host her. The guest walks, reaches the destination and the manager from the newly booked property apologises for all the convenience because they too, don’t accept bookings from oyo.

I booked a room with oyo and it was confirmed but when i arrived at the hotel they said they cant let me check-in since they had cancelled their contract with oyo a month ago and so i called the oyo customer support. I waited for ten minutes for the call to connect and when i told them the issue the girl on the other side told me she’d contact the owner of the hotel to look into the issue and the owner was right next to me and i saw no calls coming. And after waiting for some minutes I was told I’d be given a room which is a little bit far from there but i said it’s fine if the rate is same. And then the girl put my call on hold for like 1 hour and me along with my family was stranded in rain in an unknown place for almost 3 hours calling raising the same issue again and again to the oyo support team. They did nothing but put my call on hold or just hang up on me. I had to go back since there was no hotels nearby and the weather was too bad that We couldn’t go elsewhere. I have never had such a deceitful experience ever. Never going to trust this app again.

We have booked Oyo home in Lonavala, upon reaching at the hotel we got to know that our rooms were allotted to some other guest as the hotel staff assumed we would not show up as we reached little later than our check in time. We did not receive any call from hotel/oyo team to check about our arrival at the hotel. While contacting the hotel staff, they started yelling at us as it was our mistake that we did not reach on time at the hotel and argued with us for so long and this blame game continued for ab hour. When we contacted OYO customer care, they said they will arrange a call back or provide a resolution which did not happen instead we only received call from property manager to state that you can stay in the room which was already occupied by other guest snd they will change the bed sheets and give it to us. Since it was raining heavily and the location of the hotel was really pathetic , we chose to spend the night in that dirty room and managed. It was really disappointing to see how OYO team has handled this issue and their hotel staff behaved with us. I want the full REFUND of my stay and would never recommend OYO to anyone.

I have booked a hotel on Saturday midnight around 1 am & the reference I’d (EVNH2476).the worst part is the hotel doesn’t have proper sign boards for directions to reach the hotel!!!i have been roaming till 2 in the midnight...the helpline no doesn’t work fill with the help of local guys I have found the hotel.i reached the hotel finally at 3,the hotel manager asked me to provide hard copy’s I have informed them as of now I can’t provide I can only submit u soft copy...I can provide u in the early morning itself.......the hotel manager informed me to talk to oyo customer service he was literally an idiot who cannot even manage to speak with the manager and manage...he is an literally dumbass,that night I just walk out of the hotel!!!he also informed that I wil get my refund in 10-15 days.....I was lucky I had some extra cash & booked an another hotel!!!what would be my situation if I don’t have xtra amount I have to stay on roads because of those dumb idiots how cannot Handel simple things

I was using oyo since 2years and I have stayed at oyo property more than 50 times. Out of which 2 times more than 1month but from last 5 times I am facing so many issues with oyo that can’t be explain or tolerable at all. Let me explain one case. I have booked with oyo (hotel noida stay, noida) which is located near noida city centre, during my stay I found that picture is mismatched, ac remote was missing. table, blanket, bed sheets, were missing. So that I tried to get help from oyo assist but I found that I have been checked out by oyo automatically and I saw feedback page which usually comes after checkout so I have rated 1 star for that stay. You won’t believe what happened after that!!! I got a call from oyo property stating that you have to check out right now as you have given one star. I tried to get help from oyo customer care and I talked with 3 different executives but they never came back with proper resolution. After that I have been left from that property forcefully after 2hrs of check in. This is very much disappointing situation for any customer like me. Oyo is doing business now with this kind of bad service.
So my sincere request to all not to choose oyo.

Worst experience with this OYO hotel “9025 Viditva 1” not clean room as they mention and AC is also not cooling. I call many times to the hotel staff for provide TV remote they say “will give you sir wait for a minute” but didn’t give me TV remote. I stay 1 night and a day and I wake up 4Am morning bcoz light was cut, no fan working or AC.. I go to Reception and they say “Sir Generator ka Diesel khatam ho gya hai ladka lene gya hai” and for one time it’s okey I can understand that Situation but 3 times same problem and same answer, It was so irritating... Light was cut for an hour or two hour.. I was so irritated about the service of this OYO hotel. And one the major problem Room locks are not good.. the lower one is broke and upper one is loose... proper security issue.. “I Genuinely so disappointed about that much irresponsibility of OYO”

The Hotel was closed for maintenance without ANY prior notice

I had booked Oyo 7173 and when I reached the location the door was locked and upon pressing the calling bell, some labour put his head out of a window and drove us away because the building was closed for maintenance. I did call Oyo Assist. The hotel reception could not be reached. Even the Oyo assist people could not arrange for any kind of alternate stay options. They replied all the suitable accommodations are booked already. Yes I was refunded the full amount of money but it was a great deal of harassment. Staying out in the heat and over 25 mins on call with Oyo Assist. I have extensive experience with Oyo and I was satisfied with the service until now. If the property was closed for maintenance there should be at least a notice for the people who booked it. I’m very disappointed and I feel harassed.
Anyway thanks for the refund though.

I don’t even know where to start.
My booking with OYO Flagship Le Grand, Kalkaji, New Delhi was the worst experience possible.
Right from the check in i faced difficulties.
1. No room key - I had to call the reception everytime i needed to unlock my room after i went out.
2. Worst linen i have ever seen - Be it the bedsheets or the towels, I have never seen anything worse than this.
3. Extravagantly Worst Hotel Staff - Ignorant behaviour, bo customer service experience, unapologetic, rude behaviour are some of the good terms i can use for them.
4. Checkout Service - No GST bill provided.
Even after entering the correct details on the app i get a GST bill which mentions my name instead of my company name on the GST alongwith the correct address and GSTIN.
5. Failed Customer Service Center - Even after multiple calls the GST issue not resolved. First call was put on hold for more than 30 mins. The second call went to a customer executive who said he did not have a system and hence could not help me. The third call got merged with abother customer’s call and i could hear him frustrated even more than me. On the fourth call i was assured a call back in 5 mins with a resolution. But no call back received.
I think the board should first get things cleared internally rather than going for acquisitions outside.
Uninstalling the app and going to stop using the services from today.

Actually I downloaded this app coz it had lots of buzz of budget rooms ..I had booked a hotel in mangalore..when I started the booking ..it’s said the room is 859 rupees ..I gone ahead with a the booking and at booking checkout they asked me if I want to pre book the breakfast meal..it’s showed me around 50 rupees to book that..but at the booking end it’s showed me I had discount of 109 rupees and I had to pay only 800 if paying through the app..when I reached the hotel they said me I had to pay 109 extra ..then I called the oyo customer care ..when I enquired them about this ..they said I have to pay for it ..when I said them I don’t want the room ..they indirectly threaten me saying there will be no refund..stuck at night ..I had to expect the worst from them ..and in the morning when I asked them for breakfast they bought and asked me 60 rupees extra ..I said I have paid through the app ..I had to wait another 10minutes to get the result from them ..when I checked the breakfast only to find half baked dosa ..for conclusion ““DON’T FALL FOR THE FAKE PROMISES AND DISCOUNTS THIS APP OFFERS AND REGERT LATER ““..I do have the pics of food..unfortunately didn’t get time to get record their customer conversation..beware people .. BE AWARE

I am deleting the app. Oyo has become extremely pathetic and this is my common feedback in recent times with any properties as visited now and previously as thar enables to assess the deteriorating standards with respect to rooms, cleanliness, hygiene and most Importantly staff. The owners have extremely rude and that further reflects in the staff who Carry forward their managements attitude who being unprofessional and disrespectful. Oyo has not managed or made any efforts to control these parameters in their collaboration. The same is complimented further with dirty bedsheets and bathroom. And I have not seen any Action being taken on the complaints being shared. Oyo townhouse should be the only properties that can be subscribed. Rest all is a waste of money time and mood. Oyo Hs forgotten that their offering is in hospitality sector and inhospitable living environment and staff behaviour does not go well together. In conclusion, better offerings options and brands within the same range is available. I would recommend anything but Oyo

I have been using Oyo from past 2 years and yes my experience always have been fantastic. But 2 days back one incident happened I had booked a hotel room in delhi from oyo for three person, we reached hotel at around 11 pm at night but was denied to check in by receptionist the hotel person said they will not allow 2 male and one female in one room though i was with my hubby and brother
So I called in Oyo support and told my problm, the person Harsh oyo support executive , really helped me like a savior, we were new in delhi we had no where to go , but Harsh talk to
receptionist and after that he provided Us a complimentary room free of cost as an apology so that we three can stay in. M really thankful to Harsh and Oyo for helping me out. I Really Recommend Oyo to everyone. :) thank you

On road with family for 3 hours bcoz of booking room with oyo

I have booked 2 rooms in oyo. When I went to hotel they said over booking is happened. Later I called support numbers which is of no use and hotel person tried contacting Aakash but not lifted the call. again hotel person called Pankaj, he lifted and after knowing there is issue he continuously rejected the call. Later we called Shankar, he lifted the call for sometime and said they allocated new hotel but nothing is done he also stopped lifting the call. Later I got call from one support number and I have spoke with 6 members but no use, all of them lifted the call and said transferring call to supervisor every guy kept on hold for 15 min on average but his superior never picked the call. One of superior spoke and he also kept on hold for half n hour. Till 3 hours happened and im on road with my family, due to season time at mysore I didnt get room anywhere. Filing a case on oyo support team. This is worst ever support I have seen.

I recently made a booking and the following day I received a msg stating that your booking is confirmed but to reconfirm it kindly give a missed call on a no and to cancel it give a missed on another no. Here in both the numbers only the last two digits were different because of which I accidentally gave a missed call on the second number. Please when you are shooting out a message like this do take into consideration to at least make the words “to reconfirm” and “to cancel” in bold or either send two different messages to make it less confusing. The matter was resolved and I even got a rebate on the next booking which is highly appreciating. But please do take this matter into concern to avoid inconveniences on both ends.

I have booked 2 rooms with oyo in Nilachal House South Ex -1 Delhi To Saturday 25th night to 26th morning. When I went hotel to check in there was no hotel placed at Google Map where it was directed us on Navigation Map. When I called there HelpLine number No was picked the call on After trying 3 to 4 Times I have cancelled my booking around 3.30 a.m. o have booked the same around 2.30 a.m. within 1 hour when I supposed to check in after getting no response I have cancelled the booking through OYO App itself. Now I called OYO customer Care help Line they said I need to call them prior to 24 hours before check in so they are unable to refund my money. Even there team called me to ask what was the reason I cancelled my booking. Point no.1 - I don’t get any call from OYO team. Point No-2 when I told customer Care executive to transfer my call to concern department who tried to call me he forwarded that call to feedback from 1 to 5. Now I am expecting nothing from OYO I am going to recommend my all the friends to GO & Book via any other app like IBIBO or Make MyTrip or book it via anything else but not OYO They are Cheater nothing else.
