Tides PRO is a beautiful tide prediction app for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch that helps you know up-to-the-minute facts about the predicted tide height in the United States, Canada, Japan, Portugal, France, Germany, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, China and other countries. Get high and low tide times, tide charts, tide tables for over 17000 of ports, harbors and coastal locations around the World.

Tide graph:
* Interactive graph shows tide predictions, current time, Sunrise, Sunset, Moonrise, Moonset times
* Swipe left and right to get tide predictions with up to the minute accuracy for the next few days
* Tap on "Calendar" to open calendar and get tidal predictions up to the next 365 days
* Tap on "Now" button to show current time on the graph

Knowledge of tides is an important element of boating safety. Tidal information is essential for navigating a shallow waterway or placing your boat at anchor. The success or failure of a voyage can depend on the height or depth of a tide, while knowledge of current information can save fuel and make passage into a river or channel safer.
Tides PRO goes further than the tables provided by the NOAA. The app automatically accounts for correction factors and provides instant information without requesting that you account for time lags, daylight savings conventions, or height differences between the reference stations and the locations you are seeking.
Since the tidal information that is published in this app is not subjected to the use of the voyage, please do not use for navigation

Ich habe die Daten der App mit denen des BSH verglichen. Sie weichen in der Höhe für HH Altona teils um 60cm ab.
Das ist mir deutlich zu ungenau.
Die Darstellung gefällt mir. Auch die Nutzung auf meiner Apple Watch. Es hilft nur nicht, wenn die Daten falsch sind!

Die in dieser App veröffentlichen Zeiten der Tide weichen teilweise erheblich von den offiziellen Gezeitenberechnungen (BSH, etc.) ab. Nicht nur in deutschen Gewässern, sonder auch international. Andere Gezeiten-Apps nutzen die offiziellen Daten und sind damit genauer. Die Betreiber dieser App nutzen einen eigenen Algorhythmus zur Berechnung. Betreiber wurden über diese Differenzen informiert.., mal schauen, ob und wann sich etwas ändert…

I am in Thailand and this app locates me in New Jersey. If location is selected manually prediction is only available for Bangkok - other apps offer several locations in Thailand.

Die in dieser App (Mac, iPad, iPhone) angezeigten Daten weichen teilweise erheblich von den offiziellen und veröffentlichten Gezeitenberechnungen (BSH, etc.) ab.
Andere Gezeiten-Apps zeigen tatsächlich die offiziellen Tidezeiten und Höhen an und sind somit genauer, nur diese App nicht, da sie eigene Berechnungen anstellen und in der App veröffentlichen.
Info über diese Abweichungen ging an den Support.., schauen wir mal, ob sich etwas ändert...

Habe so einige Apps getestet und auch für die meisten bezahlt. Bei der hier gibt es auch minimale Abweichungen, ABER da geht es um maximal 5Min und nicht wie bei einigen anderen um mehr als 30Min. Ist wenn man auf dem Wasser arbeitet ja nicht ganz uninteressant!! Worüber ich mich noch freuen würde, wenn ein Update kommt und man es bei der AppleWatch in die Komplikationen einbinden kann.
