Diagnose signal issues and improve responsiveness of your Bluetooth based HomeKit devices with HomeScan.
• Improve your HomeKit accessories signal strength
Use HomeScan to optimally place your Bluetooth accessories within your home, reducing latency issues and signal interference. Peak and average signal strength allow you to diagnose existing devices, while the graph shows you signal strength over a set period of time.
• Use it with your HomePod or Apple TV
Simply place your device on your HomeKit Hub, choose the accessory you wish to diagnose then watch the signal strength shown on the display.
• Take it on the go with the Apple Watch app
Take the signal strength meter on the go with the included Apple Watch app to find the best location to put that door sensor.
• Audible readouts for ease of use
HomeScan can call out the current signal strength audibly to guide you through placing your device.

wenn von 20 Geräten 15 „No Name“ als Namen haben. Woher soll man dann wissen um welches Gerät es sich handelt? Ich will mein Geld zurück!

Geld ist rausgeworfen

Zeigt nichts an, seit Ewigkeiten kein Update

Not usable

I get the Idea. but in all honesty: what am I supposed to do with a List of approx. 20 devices labeled „No Name“?
If the App has access to homekit my expectaiton would be that it matches device information to list the devices mapped to their name and room. This way round - and with no user guideance - i feel like being a carpenter who is being led to a garage with 20 cars and the information, that „the broken car has to be fixed“ without any hint which car it might be.

No data exchnge to other devices.

The labeling of the individual signals can not be exchanged between the devices iPad and iphone.

Good Idea

The idea behind is valuable but the UI is weak.
I assume it shows the BT signal to the iPhone or iPad you are using but not to the Apple TV.
Even I go very close to my EVE devices the signal is weak. I am wondering if this is true.

Hat mir gefehlt

It would be very useful to see the MAC-Adress of each device. So I can Build my own Bluetooth extender with a HomeBridge. Keep going! Good work!

Awesome

Great UI, although I am not a fan of popups.
Great app for measuring Bluetooth strength, regardless of HomeKit device or not.
Strength is measured in dB. This is techie stuff and I am fine with that. However the normal user would probably expect a % number.

Tut was es soll
