Beschreibung
The first drawing app made for tattooers by a tattooer, full of innovative features and tools specific to working in the tattoo industry. We got straight to the point by eliminating features that are of no use to tattooers, and focusing on ones we need, many of which have never existed before. As we grow, we want to include the wants and needs of the tattoo artist community. So please send us your feedback and suggestions, if we can put it in the app we will. SYMMETRY & PATTERN MAKING FEATURES
Stack and use these simultaneously!
MIRROR EFFECT
Replicates and flips your drawing across a guideline that can be configured horizontally or vertically, and offset using the ‘offset’ feature.
REPEAT EFFECT
Replicates your pen stroke and repeats it in a row formation to create a “band” of pattern either vertically or horizontally. Combine with “Mirror Effect” to duplicate and flip as well as repeating in a row. New for 2021 is a Polar repeat, which repeats your drawing in concentric circles that go from larger to smaller in the center. Plus use the curve slider to draw in a spiral!
ROTATION EFFECT
Create “mandala” type designs up to 200 segments. Strokes can be mirrored or turn in the same direction.
WALLPAPER EFFECT
Create full page patterns. All 17 of the plane symmetry groups are here from P1 all the way to P6m. Customize the height and width dimensions for 8 of the 17 wallpapers.
GRADIENT THICKNESS
Gradually increase the size of your pen stroke from top of page to bottom, left to right or in a circular or square shape towards center. Customizable from 1 -10 rows of gradation. Use it simultaneously with any other Geometrica effects for a drawing experience you have to see to believe. There has never been anything like this before!
STRAIGHT, CIRCLE & ELLIPSE RULERS
Unlimited amount of rulers on the page and easily jump between them. Adjust angle of straight ruler in single degrees or snap to 15 degree increments to quickly access the most common degrees like 90, 45 etc.
DRAWING TOOLS
We’ve kept the drawing tools simple to start but of course we threw a couple innovative gems in there cuz that’s just how we roll at Geometrica. Stroke smoothing on both marker and eraser
MARKER TOOL
Imitates the various sizes of marker a tattooer would typically use to create line drawings, can be customized including a whip shade option..
AIRBRUSH TOOL
For doing shading.
BUCKET FILL TOOL
Fill in areas with solid color, but ours works with symmetry effects, so if your pattern has 300 repetitions of the same shape, one touch of the bucket tool will fill all 300 shapes *mic drop*
DOTWORK TOOL
We realized early on that if we were going to release a Cory Ferguson drawing app, it had to have a dotwork brush, so we took it to the next level. Adjust the size of the brush tip, the density of the dots filling that area and the size of the dots themselves!
STRAIGHT LINE TOOL
hold the Pencil on screen to draw perfectly straight lines that move and stretch until you decide to lift the pencil. Works well with symmetry effects for sharp, industrial images and unexpected designs. Enable it’s “continuous” option for another unique drawing experience.
MONTHLY PATTERNS
New patterns each month to inspect, learn from and use in your own drawings and tattoos.
SUBSCRIPTION
Because we rely on the support of the tattoo community, this app requires a subscription. After the 14 day free trial period ends, the cost of a subscription is approximately $10 USD per month. (Prices may vary depending on location)
Cory Ferguson is a 2nd generation tattooer with 20 years experience tattooing and nearly 30 years in the industry. He is a pioneer of the geometric and dotwork tattoo movement, and has built on his experience drawing and tattooing in that style to create the drawing app he always wished existed.

Can‘t be tested without subscription…

I‘m just drawing for fun, for myself, but therefore the app is way too expensive! And sou can‘t even test the app without a subscription! You have a two week trial and if you tend to forget to cancle the trial, you have to pay. That‘s completely illegal in my country!
The best app for tattooers specialized on geometry

Since I use this app I never had the need to use any other app for my mandala and geometric designs. The creators really know what we need to create the best designs possible and constantly update the app with very useful functions. 6 of 5 Stars.
Would invest the money, but not very user friendly

Really good app for Mandala and Geometric works. It offers all the tools to quickly assemble a Mandala, that Procreate for example lacks. I also really liked the shading tool/pen, which resembles the look of tattoo shading. However - for this prize- the app kinda seemed unfinished to me. I was struggling with the layers, and some general use, but I guess you have to use it a couple of times to really understand all functions. But the biggest problem I had, was that the app tends to crash every now and then, of course without saving. So instead of saving me time, I had to spend 3 hours more on the design, since I had to restart a couple of times.
I‘d have no problem spending money for the suprscription, if the App had a more finished and user friendly feeling to it.
It’s like having two legs but only using one

From what I’ve seen a good app with a lot of features but the pricing model prevents a great majority of people from using it I think.. I would rather pay 50 - 100 € for an app that is worth it instead of paying a 10 € fee every month.. Think the app would be used by a lot more people if the developer would come off his high horse and would give people the opportunity to buy the app.. As a couple reviewers mentioned here already pricing models similar to Adobe but the difference is Adobe has a name in the business for 20+ years and they didn’t start off by letting people pay monthly fees for their products...

The price is way too high! Is it greed or mismanagement in business? The idea is good and the app basically is too. Nevertheless one can achieve similar results with free or cheaper apps. Maybe alternative apps require more patience and time, but more than +120€ for a year? 16€ per month???
Wow... and soooo sad! Until then Affinity Designer & Procreate will do the job, sadly.
Guys, sort your financing strategy out and it will be a very fine app to use.
Good App, discouraging pricing strategy

Like the title says. You get discouraged from using the app due to the pricing strategy of binding you to high costs - I bet youd really get a lot more customers with a lower entry fee than monthly payments comparable to the entire Adobe CC programs. A little too bold for my taste
