I love TANIS. It's such a great podcast - very well made and it really draws you into its world. If you like mysteries, mythology and are one of those people that wish or believe that there is more to the world than we know it: This is the right podcast for you!
Tanis is a bi-weekly podcast from the creators of Pacific Northwest Stories, and is hosted by Nic Silver. Tanis is a serialized docudrama about a fascinating and surprising mystery: the myth of Tanis. Tanis is an exploration of the nature of truth, conspiracy, and information. Tanis is what happens when the lines of science and fiction start to blur...
I am only on episode 6, but if it continues in this amazing quality, it is going to be my favourite podcast ever. Do not stop.
is simply a great podcast.
...and very much so. Not quite as good as the black tapes in my opinion but pretty close. Nick is actually as nice to listen to as his counterpart Alex and the supporting cast is even better and more likeable. I just prefer the much darker topic of black tapes. But who knows maybe it will tie in eventually...😏
What is Tanis? This question marks the starting point of Nic Silverman's journey through a world of conspiracy, cults, and ancient horrors. The young radio journalist turned podcast producer stumbles across an obscure myth at the center of which is the notion of Tanis. At first, there are only vague hints about possible connections between a rocket scientist, Egyptian religion, xeno-biology and secret government experiments. Everything seems rater iffy and unbelievable. But Silverman digs in and quickly realizes that even if you are paranoid that does not there is not one out there trying to get you. Tanis should appeal to a lot of different people: fans of the X files, cosmic horror enthusiasts and Lovecraftians, conspiracy nutjobs and, well, basically anyone who likes a podcast with great production value, a dedicated cast, and a captivating storyline.
Leicht abgedrehte Verschwörungstherorie(n) gefällig? Dann unbedingt reinhören 😊
It took me a while to get into it, and I mixed it up with The Black Tapes at the beginning because I was listening to them at the same time, but now I cannot wait for the newest episodes.
