This collection features student presentations form the module APS327 - History and Philosophy of Science. The course comprises lectures on the history of biological thought covering: (i) Reproduction, (ii) Evolution, and (iii) Sexual Selection. There will be a one-day conference at which students present prepared papers. Other topics discussed will include: (i) ethics in science, (ii) sexism in science, (iii) philosophy in science and (iv) the popularisation of science and communicating science to the public. The course culminates in a mini-conference featuring student presentations, from which these are a selection.
