What's this revolution really about?

What's this revolution really about?

Länge: 37:23
Freddy Gray speaks to the journalist Nellie Bowles about her new book: Morning after the Revolution: Dispatches from the wrong side of History. As someone who had fit into the progressive umbrella, her book recounts issues that arose when she started to question the nature of the movement itself.
Freddy and Nellie discuss the challenges of the progressive-conservative divide, bias within the media, and whether privilege is America's version of the class system.
Produced by Patrick Gibbons.

Something needs to be changed

I listen to the spectator range of podcasts to keep up a diverse podcast diet. This is probably the poorest of the spectators podcast offering. Either the editorial team don’t have a clear idea how the podcast should be formatted to reach their goals. Or their host doesn’t know how to form informative and penetrating discussions with guests but keeping civil.
Someone from the UK you would expect a better discussion on US politics on our behalf from the Spectator. It is more promotion of a point of view, rather than a exploration, explanation or examination.
But sadly it does follow the worse insults that people throw at the Spectator that it is just a clearance house for any right wing thought. It is rather embarrassing from a long lived institution that it has such a shallow level of discussion, and a host that just wants to be liked.
