I like This Podcast very much. Ist Takes you Deep into the Story. Can‘t say That the Plot is too thin, i believe, they want Some Things to Tell in later seasons - Hope so!!

What a waste of talent

I hate to be that harsh. Imagine you have Rami Malek in the studio, and quite obviously the funds for a great production team to create really top notch audio.
And then you realize your plot and storytelling simply is not strong enough to make anything interesting out of that. It’s ok that it all takes a while to unfold. But then, it feels like a washed down variation of “Under The Dome”.
Worst of all are all the cliches and characters that seem to be taken out of the standard shelf. LOTS of mindless shooting each other, the inevitable underdog turning dictator, the inevitable violent dimwit with an neglected childhood, the inevitable soft-spoken hero whose kindness wins.
It is all so duh, and makes me almost sad because of the missed chance.

Great theatrical performance!

Really enjoyed the acting and narration. Would have preferred to have delved slightly more into the feelings and character building of some of the family members, simon’s friend and studio owner for example and maybe some more of the town citizens. Maybe spinoffs?

Too Hollywood-ish for my taste

Not even Rami Maleks beautiful voice can overshadow the pretty antiquated premise or the cheesy and predictable dialogue and story in this podcast. Way too much ads, too. The production quality is outstanding though.

Great experience
