Very good production quality of the podcast. The stories and adventures of critical role are entertaining, fun and emotional. you get attached to the characters so easily. I prefer the videos because you can see the reactions of the cast. But for travelling and at night I listen to the podcast version.

Really great show
Well I guess my dad got me into it (I‘m 18 now), but I really love to listen to the show while taking the bus to school and while learning at home. Had many great afternoons with the third campaign so far :)

A favourite to listen to
While the audio-only is not as perfect as the video, I still love to listen to this one as soon as it comes out.
Due to work I unfortunately do not have the time anymore to watch but listening on my commute has become a new favourite of mine. You guys are amazing and I love what you’re doing with DnD.
As a new listener: if you are interested in RPGs and especially TTRPGs at all, give these guys a listen. You will not be disappointed.

My new-ish favorite podcast
I discovered them a few months ago and listened to the first 27 episodes of campaign 2 when they started with the new third campaign. I am not used to having to wait a whole week to find out how it continues, and I’m absolutely in love with the show.

120 episodes later, this group of hilarious, creative, genuine nerds has been the ultimate blessing of my 2020. Critical Role is a true blessing. I'll never forget to love you back!

Feels like they're friends…
… one can meet up with, while at the same time, the world and characters created in their play get convincingly real. Even though the "fourth wall" is broken constantly and the roll of dice should distract, both somehow fail to break the wonderful illusion that is the quest and adventures of the Mighty Nein.
If anything, the fact that it's a game adds to the suspense, because where storylines tend to be foreseeable, at least to the media-weary knowledgable, the dice add an instance of chance that time and again keeps me holding my breath.
The host is nothing short of brilliant, some of his characters are an enormous pleasure to listen to, some of his voice as well as narrative twists and turns just leave me in awe.
I've come to love all the characters with ridiculous intensity , and because they are flawed and wonderful, have good and bad days, they feel very real, and absolutely enrich my life.

Critical Role, the One Shots and Talks Machina are true gems. The love, camaraderie and joy that pervades everything they do is a blessing to us all.
I’ve watched CR since the first aired ep on Twitch, and I still watch to this day (using podcasts when I can’t watch for weeks at a time). If you can Watch on Twitch or YouTube then do so, but if you can’t they the podcast is a must!

I love this Show! I started with Vox Machina to get an idea on how to play D&D and thought: Wow I am 90 episodes behind - Well I won't finish this. Half a year later I am waiting every week for the newest Mighty Nine episode! The stories are so exciting and the cast is so engaging to listen to! Do yourself a favour and listen to these nerdy ass voice actors <3
