143: Disney Goes Hard (Hardest Thing You've Done + The Next Right Thing)

Länge: 53:44
On episode one hundred and forty three of Holy Ghost Notes, Matt and Tim chat about the changing of seasons and the rewarding feeling of accomplishment before getting into their topics. The first, they share the “hardest” things they’ve had to experience and/or overcome in their drumming careers. Second, Matt tells a story about a friend who’s trying to turn his life around and suggests that he needs to start by deciding to do the next right thing- to which, Tim sums up with a Disney song.

My favorite podcast!

It‘s my favorite podcast and I can’t thank Matt and Tim enough for doing this! Even if you are not a drummer, it’s so interesting to learn a lot about drums and music. And most times these topics refer to other areas in life. The faith topic is everytime so encouraging and I’m learning so much for my own life. Matt and Tim are sharing very personal stories and I really appreciate their honesty. They talk about their own struggles as well as how they overcome them. And these two are one of the nicest guys! Thank you again and keep up the awesome work!

A podcast not just for drummers and/or christians

Well, I’m not a drummer. Still I love the drum topics because I love music in generell and of course the more heavy stuff. And of course I got into Holy Ghost Notes because I really like August Burns Red. But the good thing is: there’s so much more that gets covered by these two guys.
What I even like more is the faith topic, where Tim and Matt share their perspective on different faith related topics. While this may not necessarily be the most technical theological approaches, they appear to be something maybe more important (at least to me) : they are heartfelt and honest. And I truly enjoy listening to their perspective, where I can learn even if I may disagree.
I always look forward to their episodes, which come out almost weekly. And what impresses me every time: how well spoken Matt is. Which makes it more easy to understand for a non-native English speaker like I am ;)
Cheers from Germany, keep up the excellent work!
