Technology companies are locked in an arms race to seize your attention, and that race is tearing apart our shared social fabric. In this inaugural podcast from the Center for Humane Technology, hosts Tristan Harris and Aza Raskin will expose the hidden designs that have the power to hijack our attention, manipulate our choices and destabilize our real world communities. They’ll explore what it means to become sophisticated about human nature, by interviewing hypnotists, magicians, experts on the dynamics of cults and election hacking and the powers of persuasion. How can we escape this unrelenting race to the bottom of the brain stem? Start by subscribing to our new series, Your Undivided Attention.

Such an important topic that is hard to really understand in this depth.
Always recommending this podcast to my friends. Would be interesting to hear about tiktok and how it's algorithm censors certain topics.

Great insights with very interesting guests and presenters

I came to this podcast over YouTube while watching an interview with Tristan Harris. There he told the interviewer about the center for humane technology where I found this podcast and started listen to the first episode.
The title was interesting but the way the information were displayed and explained was sensational. Easy to understand but not to digest.
This podcast may change your view on technology and the way you engage with it.
I listened to all seven episodes that were available to that moment and every one is time well spent.
Take your time and enjoy. It’s worth your attention.

Rare content that is 100% worth your time online

The voice of hope in the vastness of the Internet junkyard. Thank you so much for reverse engineering my own addiction and also finding such clear and simple definitions for the things I always sensed but could never really put into words. Keep up the great job!
