Join retired police detective and private investigator Derrick Levasseur and true crime Youtube creator Stephanie Harlowe as they discuss the crimes making headlines while also taking a deeper look into cases that have fascinated them both personally and professionally. Loved the Hae Min Lee series, I’m from Germany and didn’t hear about it before. Well done 👍

you are the best👍🏻
so glad l‘ve found you, Stephanie i could listen to your cristal clear american english the whole
day, apart from deep drowning into these spectecular cases, i very much improved my english listen to you (at least i understand everything, and this is amazing). Also i like listening to Derrick as well - you both seem to match very well… Hope you keep on going….
If i had a free wish, i would ask you to do the „Lost in the jungle“ case. Those two girls from the netherlands who got lost in the panamian jungle in 2014….would that be an option for you? Well, i can wait :-).
All the best for you and Derrick
Loads of greeting from Germany

Happy Anniversary - Indepth Case Analysis
I enjoy listening to this podcast. They are a good team and give different outlooks on cases.
When I think about what other people could criticise(but I don‘t- just want to be as honest as possible) I would say that sometimes it´s a bit repetitive and Stephanie has a strong and morally upright personality (what I appreciate a lot).
I like the indepth conversations, good research, that they try to put themselves into almost every person and reflect on that, the explanations on laws and police work and the lessons everybody can learn from these heartbreaking stories.

Smug
Unfortunately I find both of the hosts quite smug. But at least Derrick has a foundation with his police background to be smug about. Stephanie just pretends to be superior for no reason.
I do like the in depth look at cases even though sometimes it becomes a little repetitive. I just wish they would tone down the unnecessary banter (friends don’t talk to each other like that) and stop pretending to be better than others („my child wouldn’t do something like that because she is raised right”).

My favorite true crime podcast
I live for the in depth discussions taking place on this podcast. I didn’t think anything could compare to the quality of Stephanie’s YouTube content but I’m glad to have been proven wrong. Derrick’s insights are extremely valuable and always widen my true crime horizons.

Amazing work
To me this is one of the best true crime podcasts out there. Extremely well researched, down to the point and I just loooove the conversations you guys are having about the cases because it gives the listener even better insight and new ways to look at existing evidence. 100% do recommend, thank you guys for making my long work days a lot more enjoyable!
