We are days away from a potential government shutdown, and Republicans in the House have no idea how to avert the looming crisis. But never fear - Donald Trump has a plan! Trump told Republicans this week that they should simply shut down the government and then blame it all on President Biden, as if the public hasn't been paying attention to what's been happening in Congress for the past few months. 

Also, Donald Trump's lawyers have filed a 25-page response to Jack Smith's request for a limited gag order against Trump, and their arguments couldn't have been any dumber. In their filing, Trump's lawyers are actually accusing President Biden of requesting the gag order, even though they have no evidence that this has happened. Making false statements that are irrelevant to the facts of the case will never work out in your favor.

And finally,  Judge Arthur Engoron on Tuesday afternoon ruled that Donald Trump, Donald Trump, Jr., Eric Trump, and the Trump Organization were guilty of fraud, putting an end to the case brought by the New York state Attorney General (pending Trump's appeals.) On top of the guilty verdict, the judge also pulled the operating licenses for multiple Trump entities, meaning they can no longer do business in New York State
